Strange New Donald Trump Statue In Slovenia Is Straight Out Of Minecraft

    A new wooden statue of President Donald Trump has been unveiled in his wife Melania Trump’s home country of Slovenia.

    Artist Tomaz Schlegl said his 26-foot-high statue of the president — which will be burned to the ground on Halloween — is a commentary on populist politics.

    Schlegl swiped at the hypocrisy of populist leaders by including a mechanism in the statue’s face that changes it from “very friendly during the week to really scary over the weekends,” he explained.

    Man, you gotta hand it to those wacky Slovenians... they are the new masters of producing wooden products (although the Trump tie is not long enough)

    Now another reason to look forward to Halloween... a burning Trump.... Hope they livecast it somewhere...

    Why is America allowing a foreign country to take the lead at building statues of the Trumps? America First??

    This is what constitutes "news" for the Trump haters? :roflol:

    I was just reading about a new 42 bed psychiatric hospital being built in north Florida..... I wonder if they'll be equipped to treat TDS? On second thought, nevermind, that's not nearly big enough.

    If you Trump haters want to make a case against Trump it's going to take a helluva lot more than dumb sh*t like this :roll:

    Thought that was just the primer going on the bare wood, but other pics I see seem to indicate that's the final product.

    Maybe this bit of misdirection from the artist explains it?

    Schlegl added that he did not mind that most people see his statue as representing Trump.

    It's being built in Alachua County ---- best known as the home to one of the state universities, and we know how universities tend to attract more than their share of "liberal loons" :p

    That said, the whole thing was tongue-in-cheek. That college is actually a very good and well-respected college and that area of Florida is beautiful, although not close enough to the water for me.
