And this one proves it is possible to make cartoons that portray a "Feminist message" without being too "in your face" about it.

Betty Boo was an early 90's UK singer who obviously styled herself after Betty Boop

Funny to think he's the original Phantom of the Opera, I actually saw him play the Phantom in London with my parents when I was 10 so was very lucky.

I can't stand watching Swedish films. There are two or shree exceptions, but generally they just make me cringe. Not really sure why. :p

I think he means he went to see it with his parents, ie his parents were in the audience with him.

No my dad was Christine and my mum was playing Raoul.

I think my dad pulls the dress off quite well for a mid 40's fat man with grey hair ;)

    Frank Spencer did good.

Gibson girl was an American answer to the idealized Victorian woman who was expected to be docile, utterly submissive to her husband, strictly domestic, and child bearing. A very interesting character which, no doubt, influenced the creation of a Pauline, Supergirl, Number One, and other strong female characters.

Interesting that some modern critics now consider the character to be both reverse sexist as well as racist.

I heard he ate Lassie, although it was from Sallyally who might have been trying to distract me from the dead Koala in the deep fat fryer at the time ;)
