I have a question for the libos on this forum.

Since when would any decent compassionate person celebrate clinical data that shows a potential treatment for Covid does not work? Why are you cheering for Ivermectin for fail? So more people can die?

Trump not being a medical person should not have touted Hydroxychloroquine. Still wouldn't it have been wonderful if it worked and saved lives?

There is something deeply disturbing about you people. It is obvious you wanted people to die so your senile hero could get elected. Congratulations.

I looked all over the internet looking for Ivermectin hype. Where is it? Where is the hype over Ivermectin especially in the west?

Marjorie Taylor mentioned Ivermectin in a tweet but I would hardly call it hype.
Watch out for those "other treatments"

I also noticed that Ivermectin was being given in much larger numbers and was more highly touted outside the USA. Like in India. Here is an article from a publication I never heard of calling Ivermectin a miracle.

    https://newsrescue.com/the-undeniab...pulated-largest-state-uttar-pradesh-horowitz/

Google Trump hyping Ivermectin or something like that and see how many videos or quotes there are. Like none. He hasn't. So this hatred is not even Trump induced. It is all about a few people, just a few who might have mentioned(Not hyped!) Ivermectin as a treatment. Because those few people are vaccine skeptics let's hate Ivermectin?

I'd be pretty skeptical of people like you who have a history of promoting studies that they don't read, like you claim you did earlier with Ivermectin when you were a fan. Not only that, but anyone who cannot admit that the vaccines did not work as advertised. Have no blinded studies on them, which means that you all just had to take the manufacturers word for it and refuse to acknowledge that in the data dump they knew about the serious adverse effects and leaky nature of the vaccine they produced. You've gone radio silent on that, which proves a negligence and lack of objectivity on your part.

    I think you're a shill.

Both Lancet and the NEJM were both caught publishing a paper based on fudged data and are forced to retract.
    Fake Science Kills.

"The journal’s editor, Richard Horton, said he was appalled by developments. “This is a shocking example of research misconduct in the middle of a global health emergency,” he told the Guardian."

Nobody is 'celebrating' we're pointing out that a certain treatment doesn't work. It isn't worth your money or your time and will do nothing but maybe kill you while a working treatment is available.

And what the frack is with conservatives constantly pushing these weird horse medicine bullshirts anyhow? We have good working treatments now, most of us are vaccinated. (and I don't stick to my refrigerator or want to install Windows 11 directly in my skull hardly at all any more.)

    On a different thread?

Donald Trump and the republican party have not been hyping Ivermectin. For you to make this some sort of political issue sounds rather(What is a good euphemism here), dumb?

Slandering a person like Joe Rogan was hateful and stupid.

Why do you care? Cheering that a drug is not an effective for Covid is cheering for people to be sick and die. Real stand up people you libos.

Joe Rogan makes a very good living being slandered thank you very much.

    FINALLY

Somebody asks the ONE question that can equally apply to ALL the far-right bullshit conspiracies we've been hearing for the past 7 years, if ONLY some of the rightists would ask this....oh...wait...

I could say the same about you, but why bother? Like your attempt it would be empty baseless rhetoric that wouldn't help you much, I don't think, nor do I care.

Lancet publish a few articles that were fudged and later retracted, yep.

In the Meta Analysis on Iver one article was found to have identical statements from a previous paper by the same author. He might have used a previous paper as a model for the new one and forgot to eliminate the same sentence. Students get caught doing that all the time. In fact, I think that's exactly how he explained it. He was using it for structure. Maybe he's full of ****, but here's where it makes me skeptical

There were 60+ and now 100+ other peer reviewed articles that supported it, but there's no discussion on the validity of those. Why not?

    Agenda, obviously.

It's fine that you believe that's why, but will you provide ideas or evidence on how they benefitted? Because that side has some Billions of dollars of motive for the pushing of a vaccine that failed to work as advertised. Before you go on the typical "you're an anti-vaxxer" blah blah, I'm double dosed, but stopped there when it was abundantly clear that they lied, and I also got Omicron. So I'm good.

Fake Science is very dangerous and undermines science.

Survey sheds light on the ‘crisis’ rocking research.
More than 70% of researchers have tried and failed to reproduce another scientist's experiments, and more than half have failed to reproduce their own experiments. Those are some of the telling figures that emerged from Nature's survey of 1,576 researchers who took a brief online questionnaire on reproducibility in research.”
NATURE, 1,500 scientists lift the lid on reproducibility, Monya Baker, : 25 May 2016.

You must never ever follow the money. ;-)

“Shortly after the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a global pandemic on March 11, 2020, markets collapsed and economies around the world plunged into recession.”

“One year later, things couldn’t be more different: a record 493 new billionaires joined the list this year, propelled by a red-hot stock market and unprecedented economic stimulus. Among those newcomers are at least 40 new entrants who draw their fortunes from companies involved in fighting Covid-19. Some, such as Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel and BioNTech cofounder Uğur Şahin, have become household names thanks to the vaccines they helped develop. Others got rich making everything from personal protective equipment and diagnostic tests to antibody treatments and software that helps authorities schedule vaccination campaigns, which will be essential in reopening economies and returning to normal life.”
FORBES, Meet The 40 New Billionaires Who Got Rich Fighting Covid-19, By Giacomo Tognini, Forbes Staff, BILLIONAIRES 2021, Apr 6, 2021. (emphasis mine)

That was more than a year ago.
