It's not surprising that CNN has fallen from one of the top news outlets in the country to one of the least watched. In my opinion, people watch the news outlets they trust. If I'm right, then people do not seem to trust CNN. On this board, CNN is such a joke, that hardly anyone will cite them as a source.

It's also surprising that, during a quarter which brought us the onset of the China virus along with the impeachment of a sitting president who liberals hate, even then CNN, a network that feeds the hate of the Trump haters, still tanked.

Folks now understand that narrative is paid for by a foreign government at CNN and is simply propaganda anymore. Its really time for CNN to look inward and figure out how to throw the yoke of their Chinese masters off....

Folks don’t want to watch false narratives. They want the truth. Hence they are turning off CNN and MSNBC

I remember a time when CNN was THE channel to watch. Then they embraced socialism & communism and look what happened... it destroyed them, when are people going to learn

    Or it could be demographics...
What age group do you believe consumes the majority of TV news?

Sadly it seems the more you try to inform them the more they get that glossy look that settles in their eyes.
But you know like, they don't really need the news, like, you know like, old people, are like you know always talking and stuff, like.

Have a source on your newest lie that young people are uninformed?

Old people watch live tv broadcasts primarily from one source, other groups consume various media from multiple sources.

Which do you think brings about a better understanding of what is occurring outside of a chosen bubble?

That’s why I said “Study is in the link”, it just has a link to numerous of them — guess it is too difficult to navigate.

Is that why old people prefer news broadcasts? It’s easy and mindless?
Makes sense. Just wondering, How old are you?

That story is also from 2011. In addition the article your link highlights that politicfacr ranked Stewart’s comment false.

I am not discussing Stewarts comments, I am discussing the study within.
The seventh of which exist showing the same thing.

Why do you have to run from softball questions? Should tell you something about your ideology

I’m not, you have an article from nearly a decade ago, trying to refute a politicfact of John Stewart’s comment saying what you are claiming is a lie.

In my day the newspaper was the big business

The newspaper was one the best parts of our economy back then

Millions of papers were bought for multiple uses besides just reading the news:
    Wrapping fish
    Hiding gun
Hide money handed to Congressman or Mafia
    CIA coded messages
    Swatting flies
    Swatting the dog
    Clean windows
    Line bird cages
    Scoop up puppy poop
Wrap a volkswagon to mimick the eccentric artist like Christo
And probably at least another dozen things I have forgotten about

Definitely not implying that, what gave you that idea?
Pathetic attempt to deflect from the question...

I don’t think we should ignore the politifact article.

More over the study is from over a decade ago...have they done one for now?

Your argument that young people get their news on venues other than TV seems to be an attempt on your part to say only old people0 get their news from TV, which is why CNN is sucking. My question to you is where are the old liberals who get their news from TV?

I don't watch CNN but I am paying them with my cable TV package. Give customers a-la-cart TV options and CNN would fold in 60 days.
