Here's a tweet I like. Company has sense of humor. Hardee'sVerified account @Hardees We are excited to serve everyone biscuits tomorrow morning at our Philadelphia location but in order to do that it needs to be not burned down please 8:11 PM - 4 Feb 2018
the thugs did not disappoint. hey, what about a Loot and Riot tax on the NFL? I mean, if Cap and Trade will fix Global Warming™...
One of the best SB games I've seen in years. I think it guarantees Brady's return for another season. Foles played the game of his life to overcome the great Brady's 500 yds passing. I know the defenses didn't show up but with QB play we witnessed it would have been hard for the 85 Bears to stop either of them. Congrats to the Eagles, they earned it. Congrats to the Pats for getting there again.
What a great win by the Eagles! It's gonna be a great week in Philly, I just hope they don't burn the city to the ground, LOL. Just kidding Eagles fans, have a great week, you've waited long enough......
After watching this game the NFL will go back to its annual practice of drafting only 25% White players. Three White receivers on the Patriots with 3 TDs and over 100 yards each (Amendola, Hogan, Gronk)......Ertz with the game winning TD.......Burkhead with a 6.0 ypc and a 50 yard catch/run......two outstanding QBs.....meanwhile the coal black defenses gave up close to 1200 yards.......LOL
Belichick benches Butler and the 2nd stringer gets lit up all day....Probably cost the Patriots the game...I remember Casey Stengel got fired for a similar stunt after the 1960 World Series after winning about 7-8 World Series...I wonder if Kraft will can him...
You are probably right. I really wonder what led to the benching? It is easy to second guess but I have never seen so many long touchdown passes and third down conversions against any Belichick Patriot team in a big game. Maybe Foles was just that hot...It was a great game at any rate and Philly played the whole 60 minutes to win it.
sounded like he may have been sick...but who knows...either way...sounds like it was the wrong decision....course belechick has forgotten more about football than Ill ever know....but it seems half the team didnt like the idea either. Hey patriots fan here but...Im not upset..eagles deserved to win they played an outstanding game.
precisely what I was saying on another site - Pederson's ingenuity is what provided the margin of victory
Yep, that game ranked right up there near the top. If Brady had caught it or if Foles hadn't caught it, it would have been a totally different game.
Unlike the past, Belichick failed to utilize power FB Develin. Perhaps he thought Eagles would key on him. Big surprise for me.
yeah, I agree. If you think about it...aside from the physical aspect it shows just how much of a chess game it really is. I mean a couple of mistakes here and there were all it took. Yesterday the pats made more mistakes. And boy am I glad im not a ref. I would not want to make some of those calls.
Right. In fact I felt the Eagles got lucky calls on two touch downs. However, I can't complain since I wanted them to win. Nick Foles was our quarter back here in Tucson at the U of A.
Well yesterday foles was on. After the first push down the field...which seemed like it took 20 seconds to me, I said to myself...the pats are in big trouble. They were. Once that turnover happened I knew the end was near but I also know brady tends to snatch victory in the last few seconds...so there was hope but the eagles coverage was just too good. Honestly after some blatant mistakes I was sorta secretly rooting for the underdogs especially after seeing how hard they played. I mean jesus their guys were still takin yards with 5 pats on top of them...literally. Thats guys who want it. I didnt see it in the Pats yesterday, in fact they seemed rather disconnected from the game. Next year will be interesting to see how players/teams pans out. Will we see a different pats? hmmm
Hopefully we'll see a different Patriots defense next year.......I'm fine with the offense.......well, except for the right tackle who gave up the strip sack......
I play daily games and took Agohlor (spelling) off my roster when I heard he was on IV drips all day, then he plays the game of his career. lol
Have to agree wholeheartedly here. I've been reading the Boston sports pages all week before the game and it seems the whole of NE thought all the Pats had to do was show up.
If Foles hadn't caught it and they lost Foles wouldn't have been able to show his face in Philly, EVER.
am watching the Super Bowl festivities on You Tube: oops, a Philly lineman used a few naughty words ...
In an interview before the game Brady was asked when was the last time he lost anything ( or something to that effect) he said never. They all got a much needed reality check.
Just need to keep our O line healthy Injuries all year were paramount. Can ask anything more out of Brady. He threw for a SB record 500 yards and 3 TDs
