    "Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized in Baltimore with an infection caused by a gallstone, the court announced Tuesday, adding that she's expected to remain in the hospital for a "day or two."

    Ginsburg, 87, underwent non-surgical treatment for acute cholecystitis, a benign gallbladder condition, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland."

    That may have been an option before the cons stole a seat and then colluded to have another retire.

    She values the future of this nation more than anyone in this thread — especially the people giddy over every illness she suffers through.

    I wonder if Trump can nominate her replacement and McConnell can ram it to through third reading 'just in case'. I wonder...do they wonder... if they have to wait until she dies before they have hearings on Trump's choice and just wait to schedule the final vote for the day the doctor certifies the death. It lacks a certain decorum, and it seems over eager, but Trump will give her a nice send off and let her lay in state at the Great Hall at the Supreme court, if she'll just cooperate in her timing.

    I find her revolting as a justice, but I wish her well as a human being and that she has a full recovery. As for retiring, that should be her personal decision as long as she still has enough mental acuity. Actually there are enough justices on the court that it wouldn't matter if she were like Joe Biden and mentally out of it most of the time.
