Susan Rice Ordered Spy Agencies To Produce ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’ Involving Trump

    By Richard Pollock
    March 3, 2017

Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.
“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.
“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”
Other knowledgeable official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.

Fox said the unmasked names of Trump aides were given to officials at the National Security Council (NSC), the Department of Defense, James Clapper, President Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, and John Brennan, Obama’s CIA Director.

Joining Rice in the alleged White House operations was her deputy Ben Rhodes, according to Fox.

Critics of the atmosphere prevailing throughout the Obama administration’s last year in office point to former Obama Deputy Defense Secretary Evelyn Farkas who admitted in a March 2 television interview on MSNBC that she “was urging my former colleagues,” to “get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration.”

Farkas sought to walk back her comments in the weeks following: “I didn’t give anybody anything except advice.”
Col. (Ret.) James Waurishuk, an NSC veteran and former deputy director for intelligence at the U.S. Central Command, told TheDCNF that many hands had to be involved throughout the Obama administration to launch such a political spying program.

This is beginning to feel like the dam is possibly breaking and this conduct, if true, would go far beyond what was generally accepted to this point that conversations with foreign actors were transcribed and unmasked.
The larger ramifications for the intelligence agencies cannot be overstated. This type of monitoring was allowed because they told us it was necessary and they would safeguard against abuses. It appears the system was not set up to carry out their promises.
All roads lead back to Barack Hussein Obama II.
Nothing in Government gets done with out a project number, time codes, weekly time sheets made out and filed electronically, progress reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly), meetings to coordinate efforts and assign sub-tasks, "lessons learned" meetings, "brainstorming" meetings.
The FMSM is doubling down in backing up the Obama administration.
PM Democrats are claiming what Obama Administration did was both Legal and Justified.

For sake of discussion, let us assume the PM Democrats are correct. Then PM Democrats would have to agree that it is perfectly Legal and Justifiable for Trump Administration to do same to Democrat Politicians and Candidates come 2019 and 2023.
I remember not too long ago a whistleblower in the NSA warned us about the immense potential for abuse that came with a turn-key surveillance state. Seems like Edward Snowden and William Binney have been proven right.

Based upon these latest revelations, I believe that the DOJ should begin the investigation of those involved starting with Evelyn Farkas, Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, James Clapper and John Brennan. Meanwhile, Barack Obama in self exile on and island in Tahiti.

Only after the Trump/Russia connection is thoroughly investigated by a 9/11 style Commission.

After that is completed, maybe a few imbeciles might want to waste taxpayer money on such an idiotic investigation.

There is already a few long discussions about this ALREADY (at PF).

Why do you insist on spamming the forum and cluttering it up with duplicate threads?

With an article (making the rounds with the RW Tinfoil hat crowd) that is OVER A MONTH OLD!

How desperate has the Right Wing Fever Swamp gotten for talking points?

Trying to push a delusional FALSE NARRATIVE ("hey look over here") with an article that is over a month old?:roflol:

The DESPERATION of the RW is palpable.

    Over a month old? :roflol:

    Nothing personal, carry on. :salute:

    Over a month old. :roflol:

The National Security Council’s senior director for intelligence, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, was conducting the review, according to two U.S. officials who spoke with Bloomberg View on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly. In February Cohen-Watnick discovered Rice’s multiple requests to unmask U.S. persons in intelligence reports that related to Trump transition activities. He brought this to the attention of the White House General Counsel’s office, who reviewed more of Rice’s requests and instructed him to end his own research into the unmasking policy.

The White House General Counsel? Why, that would be Neil Eggleston– the very same Neil Eggleston who was Bill Clinton’s lawyer in the Lewinsky scandal. Eggleston shut the door to anyone trying to find out who was unmasking Trump and his family and staff. Sounds like a cover-up to me.

    And hey, remember this?

WASHINGTON — In its final days, the Obama administration has expanded the power of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying privacy protections.
The new rules significantly relax longstanding limits on what the N.S.A. may do with the information gathered by its most powerful surveillance operations, which are largely unregulated by American wiretapping laws. These include collecting satellite transmissions, phone calls and emails that cross network switches abroad, and messages between people abroad that cross domestic network switches.
The change means that far more officials will be searching through raw data. Essentially, the government is reducing the risk that the N.S.A. will fail to recognize that a piece of information would be valuable to another agency, but increasing the risk that officials will see private information about innocent people.

Obama will no doubt learn of all this in the newspapers.

That is if the newspapers are delivered in Tahiti. :roflol::roflol:

But Rice had "no knowledge" of any such surveillance...remember?

“I know nothing about this,” said former National Security Advisor Susan Rice of federal surveillance of Donald Trump or his campaign-turned-transition team during the last year of the Obama administration.

In an interview aired March 22 with PBS NewsHour, Rice denied having any knowledge of what has been branded “incidental collection” of communications between Trump’s political teams and foreign state operatives.

    Sorry kiddies.

Your Russian conspiracy has no proof.

The Obama administrations potentially illegal surveillance and violation of rights of Trump, his team, and his family ...this has proof.

Your side is full of crooks, deal with it.

Even the leftists at Bloomberg cannot hide the obvious political skullduggery of the Obama Adm. anymore:

Top Obama Adviser Sought Names of Trump Associates in Intel

White House lawyers last month learned that the former national security adviser Susan Rice requested the identities of U.S. persons in raw intelligence reports on dozens of occasions that connect to the Donald Trump transition and campaign, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

The pattern of Rice's requests was discovered in a National Security Council review of the government's policy on "unmasking" the identities of individuals in the U.S. who are not targets of electronic eavesdropping, but whose communications are collected incidentally
. Normally those names are redacted from summaries of monitored conversations and appear in reports as something like "U.S. Person One."

The National Security Council's senior director for intelligence, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, was conducting the review, according to two U.S. officials who spoke with Bloomberg View on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it publicly. In February Cohen-Watnick discovered Rice's multiple requests to unmask U.S. persons in intelligence reports that related to Trump transition activities. He brought this to the attention of the White House General Counsel's office, who reviewed more of Rice's requests and instructed him to end his own research into the unmasking policy.

Fox's Adam Housley was on with Tucker Carlson Monday night, and when he spoke of people being included in incidental electronic surveillance, it included people close to Trump, including his family. This surveillance goes back to 2015 and they still don't have any evidence of wrong doing?

Source FAIL. This guy is a partisan hack. He undermines this story.

He might be right but he's 100% the wrong guy for such an important piece of news.

This is not additive. This is a pure negative.

There is not a SHRED of PROOF connecting Trump to Russia, regarding any election indiscretions. NOTHING. Nothing at all. Democrat shills leaking confidential information, is ACTUALLY happening. It's not a question of if. Its who is doing it. And we have have actual proof of those involved, just not the specific people doing it. We have marching orders being given.

Govt employees leaking information due to partisan immaturity and butt hurt feelings, is FAR more problematic than a conspiracy theory that Trump told Russia to hack DNC email accounts and release HORRIBLE crap they were doing. There was NO vote tampering. There was no tangible way Russia could manipulate people voting, unless they actually changed the votes, unless we have to assume after hearing about Bernie Sanders getting screwed, people who don't agree with ANYTHING Trump is about, decided to suddenly change their vote? Don't people understand that the Russian connection is like us never landing on the moon. Its unprovable, UNLESS we have actual audio and video of Trump speaking with Putin telling him to do it, just like we would need behind the scenes footage of faking the moon landing.

Seeing how knowledge of these conversations and by whom early on pretty much destroys your weak attempt at deflection.
