translation: I'm a typical liberal; I lost the debate so I'm running away. Ever see a conservative who has to run away?

In reality if we're going to try and employ labels in political discussions, individualist and collectivist would be more appropriate and accurate and much more clearly define the differences of views being presented.

Republicans are individualist or for individual liberty from govt and Democrats are collectivists or libsocialist.
Republican and Democrat are the common labels we use because they embody the 2 most important ideas in human history

Space mining and colonization. Infinite growth potential.

Technically speaking the technology to do this exists now, though it isn't likely cost effective yet. But it certainly will be eventually.

yes but even on earth it seems infinite. Even with 7 billion people consuming energy we have more energy in reserve than ever in history, and gas is cheaper than water because no one expects a shortage of gas to ever make the price go up.

Republican and Democrat have become meaningless labels of the 2 major political parties.

totally absurd of course a Supreme Court judge picked by Republicans is opposite of one picked by Democrats and huge fighting results precisely because labels are very very meaningful. Do you understand now?

Labels are meaningful only when they mean the same thing to everyone. Can you define Republican or Democrat in a way everyone will agree?
    Do YOU understand?

A Republican SCOTUS nominee will excite huge nationwide support among Republicans and huge violent nationwide opposition among Democrats.

Exactly a Republican Supreme Court nominee is opposite in philosophy to a Democratic supreme court nominee thus a huge battle will ensue. Now do you understand

From viewing posts you've made in this and several other threads it's quite obvious that most everyone who has attempted to communicate with you, regardless of their political philosophy has often displayed a much more superior understanding of the issues than have you. Your views appear to be based upon extremely simplistic thinking, the philosophy of Republicans and Democrats is opposite. The reality is that there is little that all persons agree on unanimously.
Yes, I now understand that there is nothing to gain by trying to help you understand. Perhaps some aging will result in acquiring greater mind maturity. In the meantime I will place you on my ignore list.

Subject is not whether all people agree unanimously by rather whether there is very very significant agreement among Republicans that their supreme court nominee will be very very superior to a Democratic supreme court nominee. Do you understand now ?

Ever see a republican, conservative or a libertarian have to run from the debate? What does that teach you?do you see why we must conclude that liberalism is based in ignorance. Is any other conclusion logical?

Any economic system is a game of production and distribution. This is according to Lester Thurow.

Wealth is a misallocation and the opposite end of the economic coin of poverty. This is also according to Lester Thurow.

Capitalism is the accumulation of excess economic resources. It is therefore a zero sum game.

In the long term capitalism is unstable. Slaves will eventually move away or rise up in revolt.

Capitalism is a beautiful, loving economic system in which you can survive only by understanding pleasing and enriching your customers and workers more than anyone in the world. If you do anything less Capitalism will drive you into bankruptcy. This is why for example 200 million Americans can't afford to have smart phone supercomputer toys in their pockets every day
