Just another step for the Police State.

People are literally too stupid to accept the fact some people urinate standing up. And why shouldn't we? Why should I strip off jackets and radios just to take a (*)(*)(*)(*)?

    Stupid.

I suggest you read it yourself.

You recommend letting folks pee as they like. But maybe you didnt mean it?

What do you mean, if not that?

    - - - Updated - - -

Coz them femnaz is goona design a toilet that is pressure sensitive. Try to trick it, and sew what it does! :D

Oh, now btw you did a nice example of a real strawman! nobody claimed some dont pee that way, nor are they "stupid" for not knowing something everyone knows.

Is it true that men or some men cant completely empty their bladder, sitting down?
THAT would be a good reason for this law not to be passed!!!

Look get real. You want to have full employment, or not?

Im trying to imagine what Pi SS would be......German SS, the secret service, and how does Pi work into this. Powerful waves of confusion sweep over me. Help!

There is no reason for the law to even be proposed.

Statism at it finest. Controlling how men (*)(*)(*)(*).

But never mind, your teeth dont get pulled easily, its not worth pursuing it.

As it has only been proposed and would not be a 'law' I fail to see how your comment is even relevant.

I already said how to enforce it. Pi SS cops, and, of course, the reactive toilet.

Wouldn't work, but that isn't even on the table on a country wide stance, this is a proposal put forward for a council to debate and vote on, find it funny that so many have jumped onto the band wagon and are acting like it has been adopted already and that it is a 'law' .. hilarious.

other than they proposed it so they could make it a rule....

I'm just saying.... you can make all the requirements, regulations, laws, whatever, that you want about men sitting to pee.... but all of them are unenforceable. So what's the point of even proposing it? Do you really think guys are going to stop standing to pee when they only have a crapper to use? I don't. I won't. and I challenge you to try to enforce such a rule if/when the proposal becomes law.

the only way they could do to enforce a "no peeing on the seat" law (which face it, this is all this is) is to mandate offices that only have one restroom that is shared by both sexes that they have a sit down toilet AND a urinal

we understand that it's not law yet? are we not allowed to voice disapproval until after a stupid bill becomes law?

all we're saying is it would be unenforceable.... so why even waste time and resources on even entertaining it?

to enforce it, you would need someone in the bathroom ticketing guys who stand to pee.... which is a privacy issue. Debate closed.

Oh I agree it would be unenforceable, I just found it irritating that the original OP dived straight in with the "feminist" angle without even taking the time to check out whether the reasoning behind it has any merit, which it did have .. that to me is just plain lazy posting or the person posting has a biased agenda, saw the article and immediately saw "feminism"

It is not even being proposed as a law, it is being proposed as a rule for a county council not a law for the whole country.

Disapprove all you like, just find out whether the proposal provides any reasoning and then research its validity .. is that really too much to ask?

Agreed it would be unenforceable, though it does raise the points of hygiene and health, surely those points are not a waste of time and resources?

This is a Swedish proposal, their ideas on privacy are quite different from the US model.

The story was on The Huffington Post. I had no reason not to trust the huffington post. The huffington post is not The Onion. The huffington post leans left. Feminists by and large lean left. I had no reason to be suspicious of an article about feminism on the left leaning Huffington post.

I mean The Huffington Post has had articles from Jezebel on their site.

and so you admit then that it wasn't the items proposed that intrigued you but the fact it was posted on a 'left' leaning site .. I rest my case.

Sounds like something NYC's Bloomburg might have cooked up. :D Really, I long for the day that government can't find any better use of their time than to research the most hygienic way for people to urinate and write it into law of the land. Surely it would mean that we have finally tackled the important stuff.

Probably not to you they don't.

Question : did you see the article, read it and immediately think along the lines of "feminist BS again" or did you think, that looks interesting I wonder if it is correct and then go research the points raised .. based on the OP my money is on the first one.

Sorry but do people actually read the links provided, please show me where it says this would be written into the law of the land. this is a proposal from a Councillor to a county council not a proposition for a new country wide law.
