Swedish town that approved a mosque's calls to prayer had previously rejected church bells

In Sweden discrimination against Christians is okay but apparently Muslims are a favored group and they get special dispensations simply not available to a Catholic church located just a few miles away.
Twice a Catholic church in Vaxjo, Sweden has had a request to ring bells to call people to church rejected. However a Muslim call to prayer, broadcast over a loudspeaker, has been given a green light.
Is this fair? Why is this Swedish town favoring one religion over the other which undoubtedly
has many more members than the mosque.

The mosque gets rules how much sound it may produce.
I'm guessing the church can't comply to these rules, and so may not.
But I have to guess because your article doesn't mention this one bit.
It just skips it. How convenient!

You are assuming that the Catholic church could ring their bells if it did not
exceed a certain volume level. That's purely your imagination and presumption at work.

The church was twice turned down in their request to use their bell on the grounds it would be "disturbing". No mention of
a noise level requirement was reported.

Maybe you should go back and try again at finding some objection here to an anti Christian double standard that can actually be supported by the facts. You failed this attempt!

    Um, no.

So far there is no double standard, since you haven't proven that the church could make an equal amount of noise but still may not ring the bells.

You claim it. You source it!
