Hardly whataboutism. If liberals were really concerned about voter fraud. you people would want to strengthen election controls and rigour. But you don't, do you? So how bout that voter ID which Dems voted to ban? What are you afraid of?

The States set their election rules. With commissions, legislators, and gov having involvement from both parties.
Why do we need another Nat'l ID for an election that only happens every 4 yrs? Giving the gov't more personal information the can use against Joe Blow. You all like big bad fed gov't overreach even though most all of you whine about big bad fed gov't.

Elections are every year and local, but 1x every 4 yrs.
If you're for voter ID, then you gotta be for the Dems Voter rights act to protect all voters in the country. Or else one's a hypocrite.

LOL. You just responded to the poster who want a Nat'l ID system so we all have to give the fed gov't even more personal information.
And you call the other side the most anti-Constitutional and threat to the country.

You all want to give this gov't you hate more personal information. Talk about a threat to liberties.

It boggles my mind how people think Trump won fair and square as more and more Trump fraud is discovered.

If these were Biden supporters, the right would be calling for impeachment and an election do over. With Trumpers, they use it to fuel the great lie.

You are so wrong for saying that. Everyone knows Orange Jesus is infallible. Why would you say such horrible, awful lies about him?

    Here's proof!!!

He's generous...he wanted to share his COVID with Secret Service agents.

He falls in love with everyone he meets...(if he wants to emulate their dictator roles)

He said that he wouldn't have time to golf if was elected President because he would be working for us.

Oops, but if you don't count the golf outings, he didn't take ANY golf outings in his term in office.

And, he donated his entire POTUS salary ($400,000/year) and cost us this much, BUT that means he understands the "new math"!

He's so loving and forgiving that he negotiated with terrorist and even invited the Taliban to our soil to visit Camp David.

He wanted to spare his donors the trouble of having to deal with his donation page so he just took money from their bank accounts.

And, if you take out the word "forced" he gave them all their money back.

And, he never met a bucket of nasty, greasy chicken he didn't LOVE!

Yeah, I responded to a post that linked that article. It would is a bogus fact check piece, and, yes, Democrats DO want to federalize everything. HR-1 is a perfect example of that. You, apparently, have no idea how much control that bill would take from the states and give to the feds.

That damn bill will include so much discretion for federal agencies to dictate every minute aspect of election law it could never be contained. Imagine what an army of Lois Lerners could do with that kind of agency discretion. An election rigger’s dream, just what Democrats want. A government guaranteed license to cheat.

    Get a clue!

    The Issue
H.R. 1 would federalize and micromanage the election process administered by the states, imposing unnecessary, unwise, and unconstitutional mandates on the states and reversing the decentralization of the American election process—which is essential to the protection of our liberty and freedom. It would implement nationwide the worst changes in election rules that occurred during the 2020 election and go even further in eroding and eliminating basic security protocols that states have in place. The bill would interfere with the ability of states and their citizens to determine the qualifications and eligibility of voters, to ensure the accuracy of voter registration rolls, to secure the fairness and integrity of elections, to participate and speak freely in the political process, and to determine the district boundary lines for electing their representatives.

The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and Freedom to Vote Act provides Federalization of State voter registration, mail-in balloting, early voting, voter roll maintenance, etc. I gather you are for that law passing -- yet you imply you are also for States setting their own election rules. So you need to clarify your position so as to demonstrate that you are not a hypocrite. Are you for or against States setting their own election rules?

What I have learned over the years is that the title of Federal laws is the exact opposite of the of what the law is intended to do, For example, the Freedom Act was about restricting Freedom. Much like the Dim Voter rights act, is actually about rigging elections.

I believe they permanently want to rig elections. As you say they abhor the Constitution.

The following, although written in 2014, well describes the liberal view of our Constitution.

It IS the same thing. They're literally discussing the exact same thing. Take a look at the date on the electoral vote certification someone posted above. Then go take a look at the start date of the thread that I posted. Notice anything about those two dates?

    Help me out please.

    1. Was the meeting with Giuliani "attorney-client" privilege or "off the record"?
    2. How would any of these forgers know what that type of correspondence should contain without *some* inside help?
    3. Why would they think this would work? I don't know the internal process but it seems like it would take more than a letter.
    4. Do you think the real electors were in on it? (They wanted to be faithless but couldn't do that).
    5. I'm sure Trump is about 1,000 people away from being implicated. Ugh. Just ugh.

And, they didn't care about Powell admitting that she lied about widespread election fraud and they won't care about this. It doesn't make a lick of sense. The X number of people bungled this 500 different ways and they think something as equally stupid happened MILLIONS of times around the country? Just...I'm so..ugh. Just ugh.

We are going to try this once again, since you appear to be extremely slow in comprehending this subject matter.

-1960 was the first time around in a presidential election for both HI and AK, both of which had just been admitted to the Union in 1959.

-It is also a fact that both major national parties made false assumptions about both states: the GOP was just convinced that AK was going to be a D-state and the Democrats were just convinced that HI was going to become an R-state

-Yes, both parties prepared a certificate of vote ascertaining that their electors were the correct electors in HI and BOTH DOCUMENTS WERE SENT TO THE THEN-GOV OF HAWAII in short succession, one after the other. None of the parties sent the document to the national archives independent of the Governor's signature. The Governor, a Republican, actually signed the first slate of electors and sent the document off. When it became apparent that Kennedy actually won HI, the Gov. annulled the first slate of electors and sent the second slate, also signed, to the national archives, the key point here being that he, the Governor, made this decision based on the end result of the 1960 presidential election in Hawaii. And the then sitting Vice-President of the USA, Richard Nixon, he himself chose the correct slate of electors, namely the Democratic slate, to read during the counting of the electoral votes in Congress in January of 1961.

This did not happen in Michigan. A slate of Republican electors, without the consent or the real signature of the Governor of Michigan, was sent to the National Archives, which already knew the actual outcome of the election. Therefore, these two instances are not alike at all. Ergo, since the document claims to be official and from the office of the Governor, it is a forgery and punishable under law.

Also, in 2020, Biden did not win Michigan by just +115 votes. It was not a nail-biter. He won Michigan by +154,181 (+2.78%) votes, and for the 6th time in the last 8 presidential cycles, the Democratic nominee came in with over 50.5% of the total vote in the Wolverine State. Biden's win in MI was bigger than Trump's win in NC. It was not even close in Michigan. Biden won and the GOP had absolutely no business putting together a forged document.

Next time, read for discernment instead of hoping to spread propaganda.

A huge swath of "Christianity" has completely lost its way, to be sure. I'll leave it up to my Christian friends to decide if those mostly evangelical or scamgelical fools are actually Christians or not.

Actually they are doing the right thing. Do you know what that is called? Why, it is called "rule of law", something that a number of Conservatives seem to not understand at all these days.

The rule of Constitutional means that authority belongs to state legislature, not the federal government.

No, it 's the exact opposite. The Constitution's Supremacy Clause makes it very clear that the Constitution is the law of the land.

That is wholly incorrect. Article 10 explicitly states that anything not specifically enumerated in the Constitution or the laws that flow from it are left up to the states to decide, which is the entire point of federalism. That also means that that which is in the Constitution or which flows from it, ie. Bill of Rights, amendments, federal code, is all under the jurisdiction of the federal government. It's a symbiosis.

Please cure your ignorance about this.
