    So it begins.
Let's hope everything ends well and the jihadi thugs are finished once and for all.

The last rebel outpost is the American/Saudi backed one.

They should put up a good fight. They are well armed and likely have Spec ops co-ordinating them.

I think they have lost their air support.

Of course they are only hitting jihadis NOT civilians, but so far the death toll has mostly been children.

Excellent video ... Ron Paul hits the target and once again the State Department is exposed as the Al Qaeda loving clowns that they are.

Your credibility with respect to Syria is zero Margo and this has been proven by countless posters on numerous occasions. Ron Paul hit the nail on the head. If you had any credibility on this issue you would address the arguments he makes but, as usual, you deflect and then run to the playground to stick head deep in the sandbox of denial.

Breaking news from your favorite "fake news" site -- Humor.

Once again you fail to address any of Paul's arguments in an effort to deflect from and deny reality.

Shells hit Syria's Idlib as rebels prepare for assault: monitor

BEIRUT (Reuters) - The Syrian military shelled the last stronghold of active rebellion against President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday as insurgents blew up another bridge in anticipation of a government offensive, a war monitor said.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said Tuesday’s air strikes had only targeted militants and not struck populated areas. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights war monitor said they had killed 13 civilians, including children, but no fighters.

The ministry said it had targeted buildings used to store weapons and explosives including a facility used to assemble explosive-packed drones that rebels have used to attack Russian planes stationed at Hmeymim air base.

Syrian state media and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that pro-government forces focused their shelling overnight and on Wednesday on the western and southern edges of the rebel enclave.

Yes Margot ... Al Nursra/Al Qaeda insurgent strongholds are being shelled in Idlib ... and good thing too. The civilians in Idlib can not wait to be liberated from these extremist nut jobs .. just like are very happy to have been liberated from these Saudi Inspired Salafi extremist Islamist terrorists in Aleppo.

I realize it will sadden you to see your beloved Saudi Jihadist nut job proxy army destroyed but, you will not find me shedding any tears.

Once again you can not even quote from your own links without stating falsehood. Your link does not say 13 children were killed.

That Al Qaeda keeps children in such locations is a horrible reality.
How many civilians were killed by coalition forces in Raqqa ? How many civilians is your beloved Saud killing on a daily basis in Yemen.

    Such preposterous hypocrisy.

Do you really think 30,000 jihadis are controlling 3 million Syrians?

The civilian Syrians in Idlib are refugees from other parts of Syria trying to escape Assad's forces.. They aren't jihadis.. They fled to Idlib.. and they have nowhere else to go.

U.S.'s Mattis says 'zero intelligence' that rebels in Syria's Idlib have chemical weapons capability

    Idrees Ali

New Delhi (Reuters) - There was “zero intelligence” of chemical weapons capabilities possessed by groups opposing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the province of Idlib, U.S. Defence Secretary Jim Mattis said, adding that the facts did not back Russian assertions.

What do you expect Mattis to say ? The State Dep't are proven liars in relation to this chemical weapon stuff. The above statement is a bald face lie.

Al Nusra had chemical weapons capability in other cities in Syria. This - in of itself is "intelligence" that Al Nusra in Idlib has that capability.

    What a preposterous falsehood.

Bashar's father had the CERS chemical weapons manufacturing program for over 40 years.. Do you think the rebels took that over?

They are testing for chlorine gas.
All people have this chemical weapons capability.

    Bleach + Acid.

    Cut price tear gas.

It's basically non lethal. Bombing people with high explosives to prevent it's use, defies all rationality.

    No Margot, it is not.
    I am living proof.

As for all those massive bombs only hitting children... a likely story.

    Chlorine gas is an irritant.
Turns to HCL on contact with water.
Stings the eyes and throat etc.

There is a thin layer of it above the surface of your average swimming pool.
Not really Sarin this one. Tear gas is much worse.
