I started watching this new series on Prime. It starts off slowly but things start getting interesting at the end of the first episode. It is surreal and confusing because The Loop is surreal and confusing. It has the potential to be a great series. We will see... At the moment I am liking where this is going and very curious. Even the setting is hard to define. It leans towards a post apocalyptic era with defunct high-tech machinery, including huge robots, strewn all about. But it may all be a result of the mysterious Loop, which seems to be the center of everything now. - wiki
add retrofuturistic... The strangeness of the landscape is explained a bit as the series progresses. But I suspect that we never will know all about The Loop. This series assumes a physics facility that produces dreamlike technology, but doesn't attempt to explain that technology. No Heisenberg Compensators here! The focus is on the lives of the people involved and how they are affected by this magical technology.
