Tank ends bomb threat

This came from Egypt. Seems the car you see driving towards the tank carried a surprise. The tank driver drives over the driver in the car. I wonder if his last words were, "don't tread on me"?

Anyway, quite a way to take out terrorists.

Wow, that tanker crew acted quickly.

 

That they did. Once they ruined the drivers day, they hit the road. Maybe they expected the blast.

 

When I watched the video I flashed back to 1995 when some Army vet stole a tank from a National Guard Armory in San Diego and had a hell of a time on the streets in San Diego.

Noticed in the above video of the stolen tank around 6:00 the cops executed the guy inside the tank.

 

I had forgot about that. Having been around the M-60 tanks for 16 months, they are bad boys. Crushing cars is no problem.

I was trying to figure out just where in San Diego the tank was. The cops opened the hatch somehow and flat executed the driver.

 

I watched it live on TV. I was living in the city or Orange in the OC at the time.

 

Was that around the same time as the OJ trial? Glad it got brought up though.

 

The OJ slow Bronco chase was in 94 so I would guess the trial was in 95.
