Most of the other stuff is in Tomorrow Land. But this is a real problem today. It is a real problem for THIS election. You can't believe anything you see or read now. The information age is over. This is the disinformation age.
I suspect self driving cars will be insured by the manufacurer as they will be the ones held responsible for crashes. Thus, crashing into cars driven by people with significant wealth won't really be a deal. And, the crasher will probably face a huge insurance/manufacurer opponent in court.

Yes, and that threat can only remain a very short time. The problem now is that surveillance cameras are useless for prosecutions. It reminds of the UFO problem. You can now claim ANY AND ALL video or photographic evidence is fake or might have been faked.
we're truly progressing to the point that nothing is real unless you're present when it occurs... trust is the hugest word, bar none... video is now untrustworthy regardless of it's source... doesn't bode well for facial recognition software either...

It has been claimed that some CIA head once said that when everything we believe is a lie the CIA will have succeeded in their mission . If true what kind of agency would say this and do it?
