Reminds me f the late 50's early 60's when the South was shipping busloads of blacks to northern states.

Then why do you propose it to be done to other states?

I think doing unto Biden as you wish done unto others is a great idea. We could even call it the Biden Meets Coloreds Act - BMCA . Maybe even have him meet people with an Indian accent in 7-11's or something.

For instance, under the BMCA, we could flood Delaware with Hisp - sorry, under the BMCA and Whitebread Biden it's Latinx. We could have Biden white-splain how Latinx in America resist vaccinations because “they’re worried that they’ll be vaccinated and deported.”

I stand with our LW Posters! Vote for the BMCA today! Help Biden see what a colored face looks like! Open the Delaware floodgates and let the Latinx in now!

    Good question.
Apparently, some people still haven't been able to decode the Art of Sarcasm?

It is made worse when they chirp and chirp trying to get my attention.
(A phenomena made even more comical when anybody thinks that using the *quote* option is going to get a rise out of me. As if.:bored:.)
It is certainly a problem that is not unique to PF.
Even at my previous stops on the internet, it is safe to say that I am the sort of Internet Personality who has always had a unique ability to inspire obsession (and the ability to get under people's skin).
It is certainly nothing that I do intentionally.
    I'm a Lover, Not a Fighter.
Can I help it, if others choose to obsess over my content?
It just goes with the territory of "Being A.J."
I always pick my spots, but I don't respond to things that are clearly beneath me.

Anyway, back to this Idiot (Griffey) in the OP:

This guy is a real piece of work who has become a legislative laughingstock.

Why do you have an issue with it? They have no problem relocating them to our hometowns let them get a taste of their own medicine.

So far, it is just hot air. DeSantis said he would send them to Delaware. He is in a position to do it, but so far, butkus.

I'm still not understanding what your point is? Did you think my original comment about political immaturity was directed at the OP instead of at the Tennessee lawmaker who did this stupid thing?

The problem is both of those things. It's not either/or.

No argument there. Biden doing something stupid does not make this Tennessee lawmaker doing something stupid become less stupid.

    Stupid is stupid.

Yeah, this mental hold white Democrats have consistently held over impoverished and oppressed black people is a sad phenomenon. The worsening poverty, crime, fatherlessness, illiteracy, incarceration, envy, and unforgiveness plaguing the black American community since the civil rights movement is all the proof needed that the Democratic Party has been and still is an oppressive regime.

Dumbing down due to increasingly radical right-wing media, increased reliance on fake news online, a growing echo chamber effect, and of course Donald Trump, all happened and continue to happen.

The right in this country has become a bigger threat than any foreign actor, though foreign actors have contributed to that problem as well.

Immaturity is not admitting an issue exists to begin with.

His Admin is shipping them all over the county are you saying he does not want them in Delaware? Why not? hmmmm..

I believe they’re being sent to where they have family. Not just random states. I guess we can send them to delaware then they’ll have to get a bus to where they’re actually going. Not sure who that benefits.

So shipping illegals to another state is a stupid idea but letting them come in in the first place is fine and dandy? /facepalm

Why the quotation marks? I never used that phrase.

I've already offered a solution to the problem at hand.

That indeed is a problem. The solution isn't for other politicians to act immature and put forth petulant childish legislation that's never going to pass in the first place.

If you can only recognize the negative effects of that kind of behavior when it comes from your opponents, you've got no business complaining when your opponents do the same.

How exactly did you reach your conclusion on what I said when I clearly said what Biden was doing is stupid too? Did you even read what I wrote or did you just make an assumption based on what you think I wrote.

I made it easy for you man, no guessing necessary. Just read what I wrote.

Can you state for all to see that you are against illegal immigration then?

I am against illegal immigration. I am in favor of securing the borders.

But, I am also in favor of amnesty and a speedier immigration and refugee process. To do it right we need a beefier immigration department with the budget and manpower to handle the task. People come here illegally because it's cheaper and quicker than waiting for the legal process to play out. That part can be fixed while still securing the border against those who come illegally as well as those who are trying to sneak across with less-than-legal goals like drug or human trafficking or terrorism.

We tried Amnesty once... Remind me what has happened since 1986 as far as illegal immigration?
