Texas considering death penalty for abortions

Not sure where you are coming from here. What I find extremely distasteful is that people are wanting to kill women for having abortions and at the same time spreading all sorts of ridiculous sick propaganda to try and convince people to support them, like suggesting a law has been passed which allows women to kill their infants after birth. That is just hate mongering.

As far as abortion is concerned the reality is that it is something people always did and always would do and frequently died from doing. I don't think having an abortion is something that people in general do with ease. At the same time I would agree that whereas pre legal abortion many women would have asked family and had to have the child in shame or been forced into a bad marriage or into a mother and baby home to have their child taken at birth never to see again, now with abortion there can also be a response of 'have an abortion and forget it' in situations where before the woman would have had her child often with very severe difficulties. Sometimes a woman may feel psychologically pressured by the man to do this. Other times she may do it against his wishes. Frequently they both decide.

One thing is for certain women will always have abortions because some women find themselves unable for whatever reason to cope with the pregnancy and bringing the child into the world. It has always happened and always will.

Wanting to kill women who have an abortion and claiming laws are passed which give women the right to murder their babies at birth, which suggests women are people who are wanting to do this, is just hatred of women in the extreme and a very dangerous threat given they want to kill them.

What if she travels to a country where abortion is legal, has the operation performed, and then comes back to the US?

 

You act like the only other alternative doesn't involve prying open her cervix and cramming a suction hose and metal instruments up there.

 

The issue isn't that they don't want to give birth; it's that they want to give birth at a different time.

So yes, if you want to phrase it that way, it's about making them give birth now instead of later.

I subscribe to the 'heart beat' bill. Whenever the fetus is viable outside of the womb of the mother, that should be the absolute 'cut off point' for abortion, imho - (I'm against any abortion - ideologically). I think that contraceptives and the "day after pill" should really be the extent of our cultural INFANTICIDE!

You have no idea weather a woman wants to give birth later or not. Many women choose to never have children in this day and age. Dont pretend you have some magic insight into a woman who is seeking an abortions mind.

But at least your willing to admit that you want to subjugate women. So few are.

I actually have slightly more respect for someone who holds this belief than someone who wants abortion to be illegal, and only punish the doctor who performs it.
