It's particularly amusing with Lyin' Don performing for Carnival who refused to endorse the lowlife whom he had labeled a "sniveling coward" at the at the GOP convention.

Of course, Carnival's "Sniveling Coward" did reveal that his father had killed JFK, a family secret Sniveler might have kept quiet about for a measly $130,000.

Fourth-generation immigrant O'Rourke will inevitably attract a pestilence of GOP dung flingers. Borderline double-crosser Cruz has already tried to paint Beto as the preferred candidate of non-Texans, but 68% of O'Rourke's contributions have come from in-state donors compared to only 39% for Cruz, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Progress is inevitable. The transformation may well require a few years, but immigrants to the Blue Bonnet State's urban centers will help it earn 41 electoral votes before long.

He evoked relative prosperity of states, and I provided empirical data regarding that metric.

Cruz is the most hated and useless senator in America.
    Not that Texans care.

Notice he used Cruz's real first name, but not O'Rourke's, which is "Robert!" I think Natty is being overly optimistic about O'Rourke's chances! I think he shot himself in the foot when someone asked him at a campaign event a week or so ago, what he thought about the NFL kneeling protest during the national anthem and after the required nod to military veterans, he said "I can't think of anything more American than a non-violent peaceful protest anytime, at any event." Don't think that's going to be received well with a majority of Texans!

You completely avoided the point. Texas has been a Republican state for decades and they have been the number one job producer going on 30 years now. Californians' are abandoning the state that THEY RUINED and are now moving to Texas to ruin that state as well. If you think Texas was successful because Californians moved there then you need to explain why California (which is chock full of Californians) is NOT as successful. Perhaps Texas was succussful precisely because they didn't act like California in the first place.

I'll leave it to Texans to decide what is best for Texas, and to Californians to decide what is best for California.

It is Texans that are turning their state blue.

No its not turning blue anytime soon. They just had election were Republicans voted 50% more than the Democrats despite there being much more enthusiasm on the left. If they can't even being to match Republican votes in an off year election with a GOP President with high negatives then they don't stand a chance anytime. Democrats have been talking about turning Texas blue for at least ten years now if not more and nothing has ever come of it. Even with the influx of parasitic Californians hell bent and ruining everyone else's lives Texas is and will be solid red for the forseeable future. And the reason is very simple. In local politics all the Texans have to do is say if you want to vote Democrat just look at our neighbor state and see what they have done for them.

You will believe what your ideological dogma dictates that you believe, despite the empirical data regarding the relative prosperity of states, and the obvious political trends in Texas.

I don't know what your "leftists' have been telling you, and I have never said it before, nor do I expect the progress to yield results in 2018.

    Nevertheless, the progress is inexorable.

Wrong. I already amply debunked that wingnut talking point on this forum. It is an immoral act. And that fact answers the question asked by the poster I responded to..

Once again, off year election, highly unlikeable Republican President and the Republicans put out 1.5 million votes versus 1 million for the Democrats. Your pipe dream not only fizzled but completely dropped from a third story window and broke into a thousand little pieces. I don't have dogma you are the one parroting decades old talking points with zero data to back it up. I actually took statistics so the ONLY thing I look at is numbers and none of the numbers look good for the Democrats in Texas. What happened to this giant blue wave that was supposed to happen. Every time an election comes up either they lose or they barely squeak out a victory. For crying out loud the Democrats were crowing how they won three already blue states. How ****ing pathetic can you possibly get.

you're right, entering another country illegally is an immoral act. as well as endangering your children by exposing them to the dangers of a trip across a dusty desert.

Obviously you haven't noticed that half the border patrol and more than a few ICE agents have have Latino surnames.

most employers have a conduct clause that states any behavior detrimental to the public image of the organization is grounds for termination. teachers, for example, have been fired over facebook pictures. the ceo of papa john's was fired by his own board of directors for racial remarks. roseanne barr, alec baldwin, don imus, all fired for things they said. barr and baldwin weren't even "on the clock." kaepernik's little temper tantrums have reflected poorly on the nfl. viewership and game attendance are WAY DOWN and they know it. then the big baby goes and files a lawsuit? what a bitch.

No it is not an immoral act! And refugees are protected, not only by the International Declaration of Human Rights, but by our laws.

Forcing refugees back. Not allowing people to apply for refugee status . Separating families. Keeping children in cages. Fooling parents into giving up their parental rights. The extradition of parents while keeping the children here... those are immoral acts. And they have been adjudicated as illegal by our courts.

Big deal. Was Bill Oreilley born in Ireland, and base all his beliefs on Irish nationalism? You gotta do better than that.

2 things... 1) these people are not real refugees. 2) the kids in cages took place under obama, not under trump. under trump its like summer camp for these kids... air con, flatscreens, ping pong...

How do you know they aren't real refugees? There is a procedure to determine that, and if they are denied to opportunity to complete that procedure, Nobody knows if they are real refugees.

this is the illegal alien parade that’s been happening for several years now. it’s a political dog and pony show and everybody knows it. they have come in the past to abuse the most generous asylum process in the world. we finally have an administration with the cajones (pun intended) to say enough is enough. there are very specific requirements to attain refugee status under us and intl law. merely living in a shithole is not one of them.
