Former Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban, who is the leader of the current mob protests and systematic takeover of government ministries and offices, has vowed to overthrow the Yingluck government by today, 1 December.

There is no end to the political turmoil and crisis in Thailand. Even if the existing government is overthrown, the next government would suffer the same fate in the future. Using an analogy, itÂ’s just like an unending game of musical chairs which is fun for children but disastrous for the country in the long run.

Will the Yingluck government collapse by today? We could compare the Thai political crisis to that of a critically ill person, with concerned members keeping vigil at the bedside. Even if the invalid manages to survive today, she will still be fighting for her life on the sickbed.

Suppose the invalid fails to survive, the next person who takes over her place will have to lie on the same sickbed at some point in time.

i am sorry to bother anyone with this but i think we need help. The situation is the media is now completely unreliable in Thailand, most of which are supporting the government. and take your focus on this, Taksin Regime is a police state, he was the national second in command officer and most of the police are now in their graps. Eversince Yingluck came into power the gov. abused its power to shuffle all the ministers, deputy commissioners etc.. you know the deal. nearly all that is thailand's democracy is now bought off, but not with some of the Army, here is the complication. in this case the army is right and neutral but it is highly difficult to explain this idea to the western world because it would seems like thailand would switch to a military state if they stage another coup like last time. just yesterday there is a situation with students of ramkhamphaeng university. in the night of 11/29th/2013, some of the students have gathered in protest to the red protesters in their local stadium, because of their loud habbit of holding speeches and turning on loud music late in the night, some of pro-gov. protesters (red shirts) have drove around town and terrorize the city and break the local sacred idiol. this only hold partial intention to overthrow the government. the students were very outraged by the "unknown party", none of this has ever happened before the Red shirts came in mass. the students then starts to break cars and the most noticeable event is of the bus that were taking the pro-gov protesters to the stadium, we know the students took it too far and we tried to stop them but they did it anyways. this gave ying luck's government an excuse that the anti-gov demonstrators are not peaceful. but later at the night of the 30th some unknown party have sneaked into the university and fired multiple shots at the students. it was reported in the social network that 4 were injured and 1 dead. later the police was called into the scene but they did nothing, they waited by the main street and make an excuse that they cant make it because of the traffic. the media did so little in reporting the death of this student and some has go as far as accusing him of being on drugs and were hired by the opposition leader Suthep, and the head of deputy even told foreign media that the students was just a random guy. it is outrageous. whats even more outrageous is that the next day which is today that im posting, even though the red shirt protest ended some of those "3rd parties" remained at the scene to continue to shoot at the university, the police were reported helping these mysterious parties. the students had no food nor can they get out. the army had to go and rescue them from the university at around 18:00pm today, gave us the relief. meanwhile nothing completely true is reported to the foreign media and the prime minster continue to repeat herself in any given interviews that she was elected from 15million votes, elections can be severely corrupt in the hands of this government. i am sorry for writing too much but this is a dire situation, please if anyone cares please help us in anyway you can!! so many people have come out to rally and they are tired and i dont know how long we can hold out and how many more accusation the government makes we can withstand. i can only pray to the lord that no more innocents will suffer. please... i am sorry for copying an paste this post but i must do what i must.

    1. It looks like you and all other students in the university have to pray very hard to the Buddha for the Thai situation to return to normal. Om Mani Padme Hum!

There is no lack of Internet news on the situation in Bangkok, as shown in the following excerpts from the article headlined "Thai protesters attack rivals, city bus and taxi" at http://news.yahoo.com/thai-protesters-attack-rivals-city-bus-taxi-122340060.html

    (Begin excerpts)
BANGKOK (AP) — A mob of anti-government protesters attacked at least two people they suspected of supporting the current Thai government and smashed the windows of a moving Bangkok bus Saturday in the first eruption of violence after a week of tense street protests.

The mob also smashed the windshield of a taxi carrying people wearing red shirts, a sign of government support.

The violence erupted when the crowd of more than 1,000 people led by university students who oppose the government tried to block people from entering a stadium where supporters of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra were holding a rally... (End excerpts)

    2. Following are excerpts from the article headlined "More gunshots in Bangkok as police guard key sites" at http://www.cbsatlanta.com/story/24100596/thai-protesters-attack-rivals-city-bus-and-taxi

    (Begin excerpts)
...The nighttime clashes involved opponents of the government, led by university students, who tried to block government supporters from entering the rally, which drew more than 50,000 people.....

On Saturday, government opponents had gathered outside the stadium and jeered Red Shirt government supporters. Two men wearing red shirts were grabbed, one from the back of a motorbike, and beaten. Two buses were attacked, their windows smashed as passengers cowered inside. One protester used an iron rod with a Thai flag wrapped around it to smash the driver's side window of one bus.

The buses and one taxi appeared to have been targeted because they carried people wearing red shirts.

The violence capped a week of dramatic protests against Yingluck's government that included seizing the Finance Ministry, turning off power at police headquarters and camping at a sprawling government office complex... (End excerpts)

I most definitely back the Red Shirts - at least they want some kind of democracy.

Yellow shirts are just the old traditionalists trying to hang on the the old way of life, and that's been and done.
