I would like to extend profound Thank You to the Lincoln Project for their good work in fighting fire with fire.

For a group of Republicans to burn their bridges with the political party and ideology in which they believed and for which they worked for most of their adult lives is a clear demonstration of the betrayal that Trump and his supporters have committed and continue to commit in the absurd lust for power in which they are engaged.

By highlighting Dirty Donnie's lies, incompetence and ignorance using the same basic method that he employs, the negative attack, they are subjecting him to a truth-driven mirror image of all that is vile and wrong with him.

I salute all the members of the Lincoln Project and wish them continued success. I also hope their courage is contagious.

I have kept up with the Lincoln Project with an open mind. My verdict is this is nothing more than Trump hater propaganda.

Neocons all. Neocons are the lineal defendants if the old Scoop Jackson Democrat they really don't care how big the government gets or how much it spend so long as the military gets its fair share.

Yes, 'jack, very refreshing to see that there are at least a few republican patriots out there who have the courage to put country before party.

They know how dangerous dictator-wannabe trump is for this country and they're doing a great job exposing him... :flagus:

I think this is Trump's last Scotsman. Gonna have to throw together a different fallacy. Soon. No more Scots. Trump has fulfilled Longshanks' dream.

    Which one doesn't belong:

Odd, coming from one who supports a former Dem and Clinton supporter. Speaking of not belonging in the 1st place.

If you say so. Given your support for Dirty Donnie the Superspreader and known liar, I don't know who will believe you.

I salute the Walk away groups for abandoning the Democrats. Far more walked off from Democrats than turn coats republicans pulled the plug on republicans.

This black woman got attacked over her vote.

The military is conservative. Hawks are generally considered conservative, at least on matters of military use. Everyone associated with the Lincoln Project is a Republican or an ex-Republican. Those are facts. Let's see if they're neocons, as you claim.

    https://lincolnproject.us/team/

    Lawyer, columnist
    Strategist
Consultant, party chairwoman, an accomplished woman; read at the link
    Strategist, commentator, author, consultant
    Party director, strategist
    Strategist, marketing expert
    Campaign strategist, political analyst
    Consultant, chief strategist

I'm not going through the senior advisors. You can look for neocons if you like. I do see Michael Steele's face down there, though. Such a warmonger, that Steele.

They are a group of strategists. The run campaigns. They make ads. They don't drop bombs. Rumsfeld is a neocon. Steve Schmidt is not.

All that is moot, anyway, as the neocons you're referring to are all Republicans.

And even that doesn't matter because Trump constantly brags about his huge military budget. Your argument broke down before it got started.

When will Republicans put ANYTHING AT ALL ahead of party ?
Hasn't happened in my lifetime and Kennedy was president when I was born.

Well, your OP shows that there are Republicans who do put country over party. There are lots of them. Scores of people from the last Republican administration are voting for Biden. Bush has wisely kept out of it, but you know there won't be one vote for Trump coming from the Bush family.

George Will is voting for Biden. John Kasich, Cindy McCain, Colin Powell, Tom Ridge, the list is long.

There are patriotic Republicans out there, and I wish them goodwill after a Biden victory. Perhaps they could reorganize an opposition party as Trump fades away.

Hey, I voted for Kennedy as a then loyal Democrat and put party above country doing so. I voted only for Democrats clear up to Carter when at last I saw the error of my ways and changed to republican. I made a good sound decision I have never regretted.

Who will the Bush family vote for. Bush was attacked daily by the Democrats. Do not think the man has a short memory. Trump does not Attack Bush daily.

I am one. I cast my vote for Trump. The man pisses off Democrats all the time, but man is he just a fine president. I like how he governs. He seems to like getting hated but that I can live with.

Dude I've been a Republican longer than a lot of people have been alive. I've seen all the Johnny come latelies. The Neocons, warmongers that they are, are a dying breed. One that won't be missed. Wars should be things one only engaged in when there is no other option, for neocons, no other option became at whim.

Better than Super Bowl ads. Comic genius. Political genius. Superb craftsmanship. These guys have a future. Lol.

We all make mistakes. Just don't make the same one twice.

    Brilliant. Thank you for that.

A dying breed? Neoconservatism died after Obama took office. The one last active neocon worked for Trump, and he wrote a book. He's not voting for Biden.

The American people have been sick of these political elitist globalists for a while now. Trump happened to be the alternative and what Americans want. The establishment types are hated by the people and both parties are infested with them.

And Kennedy ran on a strong military and lowered taxes. Kennedy would have to run as Republican today. I was born when Truman was president.
