To my knowledge, BLM protests are about raising awareness against police brutality and racial discrimination.

That some criminal opportunists invade and ruin the protest is no fault of the BLMers. Pictures of it do not alter this fact, it just proves there are criminals ruining the event.

What does a tepid elusive "maybe" denial (because maybe there were some other hooligans shouting about killing cops) of a protest in 2017 have to do with the BLM banner cry of killing cops (or having them "fryin' like bacon") 5 or 6 years earlier, when they actually ambushed and killed police in Dallas? ANS: not a diddly squat.
