Both of my parents and two of my grandparents were alive. Ronald Reagan. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek: The Next Generation. Cowboys still in the midst of their 20 consecutive playoff years (though the end of that was coming soon). Voyager II exploring Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Network television was still king. Saturday morning cartoons were still coming on at least in the early going. USFL Spring football for three season until Donald Trump killed it. End of the Cold War and the Berlin Wall came down. I could go on and on.
