The Bible/Qur'an don't speak out against sexual harassment?

    Question: where specifically in the Bible/Qur'an do the wise sages/authors in those books speak out specifically against sexual harassment? An all-knowing "god" would of course know that sexual harassment is a serious crime, as we are finally seeing in America today.

    Me, I've never specifically seen it (Golden Rule doesn't qualify here, of course), but I've been wrong before (as a former Christian myself.)

    It is NOT good to harass anyone for any reason. Harassment can have many individual definitions. Harassment for one might not be harassment for another. But it is not good for anyone to disrespect another person's desire or request to not be harassed.

    individuals do not know what the other person considers harassment. Basic guidelines such as 'do not touch without asking', 'do not crowd my personal physical space', etc should be respected without being asked. Other harassments such as 'you are over stepping your boundaries when you speak with me when not spoken to', 'you are being too friendly', 'you are not leaving me alone', etc... needs to be made clearer more than hinted at if the person truly wants to not be 'harassed' with what they feel they are being 'harassed' with. Harassment and being bothersome are not the same.

    Children 'bother' their parents when they ask too many questions, etc, but they are not harassing their parents.

    And harassment usually has to do with real fears of being physically 'hurt' or violated more so than being bothered.

    But for a stranger to harass another person because of their 'sexual preference' is not a good thing. But I have a question... Why would a stranger tell another stranger what their sexual preference is so as to put themselves in the spot light with possible 'anti gay' persons?

    If a person volunteers this information, the person obviously feels secure and safe with the ones they are sharing the information with. And if after sharing sexual preferences with another the other should begin 'bothering/harassing' the individual, the person has a right to request that their communication be changed or even stopped. It is a relationship between 2 individuals who share in speech and living spaces. It shouldn't be about 'my space', 'your space', although many times it is.

    Unless this harassment is happening in non adult settings, each adult should remember their age before their sexual preferences.

    This is not to say that a full grown adult needs to 'act' mature. Being yourself and being comfortable is the best. But also remembering that after a certain age, different expectations are oftentimes attributed to the individuals, might explain why contempt would be shown to a 50 year old bare assing a passing bus and not so much for the 10 or 11 year old.

    But I guess the real underlying line is that it really is up to the place you are living within. The location and people who live in that location would probably have more say in what is considered to be 'mature' and what would not. Harassment is not maturity.

    it can be difficult if you had to go from outgoing and outspoken to reserved and quiet only because of a location change you needed to make.

    Where are the Leaders? Where are the Scribes? Where are the Pastors and Preachers in these communities? Where are the mothers and fathers? Where are the Law makers?


    Jerusalem did not have Leaders which protected. Jerusalem did not have Scribes that taught in understanding. Jerusalem did not have Pastors or Preachers. Jerusalem had mothers and fathers who were upright and careful. Jerusalem did not have Law Makers for the welfare of its citizens.

    However Jerusalem was a very wealthy City. People from surrounding Countries entered into Israel to go into Jerusalem.

    Jerusalem is like unto a City of Jewel.

    This is where the word 'Jewelry' comes from...

    From this you can see how they felt 'secure' in their wealth and dismissed Christ Jesus, The Creator of The Earth, like yesterday's left over meal.

    Often times, and many too many times, an over abundance of wealth will lead the possessor of the over abundant wealth into an 'extremity' part of the spectrum..

    If the 'god' of this world is mammon, how much more of a 'devil' do you think its children will be?

    "Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee."



    This person's traffick, or wealth income, is causing him/her to 'sin' as well as having his/her heart lifted up as well as filling the midst of him/her, his/her city, etc, with violence.

    Wealth, in it of it by itself, is not 'wrong'. It is how the wealth is stewarded as well as how much of a 'hold' it has on the possessor. Some people, when they lend and are not paid back on time, will take the borrower's own bed as collateral..

    Wealth is less dangerous than Lies.

    Lying to self, lying to others, lying to God.

    Being wealthy to self, being wealthy towards others, being wealthy towards God.

    The first set is much more dangerous to self and to others and to all that is/are under God than the second set. And All things are under God, even Christ Jesus.

    1 Corinthians 11:3
    "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God."


    And so one might say, 'but the only way to The Father of Jesus is through Jesus.'

    Yes, true. And in reply another might say, 'But that would mean that God is over all things even towards those that aren't with Christ Jesus.'

    So in a way, The Father of Jesus might not contend with those that contend with Jesus, seeing that they have not entered in through Christ Jesus, but God might.

    Here is a way you can remind yourself of where you are at.

    Look up and see if you see the roof of your apartment..


    Don't let the false security of your apartment roof blind you..

    It is a Free Gift of God to be able to enjoy the outdoors. But using HIS free Gift against Him and against His Anointed and against His Children might call for some correction and discipline from The Provider.

    After all, All have God as their Maker, the rich and poor alike.

    "The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all."

    It isn't about 'who's better than who'... It might be more about 'how we should all be non dangerous and/or non threatening to any of God's'.

    God has a liking towards Peace, especially The Prince of Peace.

    Isaiah 9:6
    "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."


    And it would make sense. Parents prefer Peace over riots many of days if not all of the days.


    That does not mean that I cannot be out and about enjoying a party or such.. Even parents enjoy seeing their children having a good time but there are proper places and proper times for such.

    Peaceful partying is 'better' than riotous partying, so say the parents I have known.

    So are **any person** within a Jurisdiction under that Jurisdiction's Laws?


    If it is legal to smoke marijuana in Colorado while being under the Jurisdiction of Colorado, does that mean that I can smoke marijuana in Kentucky or North Carolina? Then where would my Immunity Rights be and Protective Rights be which are given to *any person* in the Fourteenth Amendment?

    Can any State in which I am resident of go through 'gentrification' processes without 'due process' which would protect my rights to keep my dwelling place? Or would it be my responsibility to bring such things to the Lawyer's office myself?

    Or is The Fourteenth Amendment saying that due process is needed before any gentrification process begins?

    If gentrification is infringing upon my right of life, liberty and property, then does gentrification first need to pass the Legal Court System before I am tossed to the curb while still a resident of that particular State?

    Were Laws, Are Laws Established to protect the outsiders or the insiders?

    The right to bear arms... Was that amendment part of The U.S. Constitution for the well being of the 'outsiders' or the 'insiders'?

    No one should think that monies is safety and good for those with no monies... A Government is Established to protect the rights of those that cannot protect for themselves. Monies being brought in does not mean safety is being brought in.

    The U.S. Constitution; U.S. being used rather that United States because U.S. is an adjective, description, of another noun; Constitution; was endorsed and enforced first with the families during those times in mind. Then Secondly the individuals. And Thirdly the 'outsiders'.

    Other wise it would be The United States' Constitution and not The United States Constitution.

    If you are truly hearing from The Bible/God/Jesus and The Bible/God/Jesus is harassing you, I would probably suggest cursing that 'voice' or 'feeling' you get till his/her lights go out. The Bible/God/Jesus does not harass. If that fails, and The Bible/God/Jesus is still lurking around in the dark, rebuke that one in The Name of Jesus. That would work, I'm sure.

    In fact, I agree with your rebuking such a Bible/God/Jesus who harasses in The Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

    Hehe, I meant Bible/God/Jesus TEACH those barbaric things.....only crazy people hear God/Jesus ("voices" in their heads.) I'm far more sane than, say, Moses was, because he heard voices in his head ("god"). THESE people also hear voices in their heads (quick write down their wisdom, maybe god is talking to them!!!)
