I agree the Exodus never happened, however my argument is that this is where the Moses story, part of it, originated from.

Of course, this one could even get into aliens.
Soot covered mountain. Drilled well on the top of a hill, split rock,
Things that would take a greater tech, or just say "God did it".

a lot of circumstantial incidents similar to Exodus. And the Pictorial writing tells us it was long before Hebrew or Aramaic, The language it would be recorded in.

I watched a few videos about this, and
I agree, these people have a good argument.

    The evidence is amazing.

The bible is written in such a way as to have more people take more contradictory, some self-contradictory, inferences from the bible than from any other literary source.

Nowhere in the bible does the bible hold out the bible as the reason that man should know that there is a God and what that God is like. The bible holds out the nature of the balance of the material-spatial-temporal as why man should know that there is a God.

    The Word of God is implied in the bible, but the bible is not the Word of God. One of the most significant differences between the bible and the Word of God is that the Word of God is tested;
it is the product of testing.

Any portion of scripture is good for instruction, but no portion of scripture is good for conclusion.
Conclusions should only be drawn from the full counsel of God's creation.

The bible is the key to understanding everything else, and the nature of everything else is the key to understanding the bible.

Egypt in Canaan - Canaan & Ancient Israel @ University of ...
    https://www.penn.museum/sites/Canaan/Egypt.html
For more than 300 years during the Late Bronze Age and early Iron Age, Egypt ruled Canaan. Deities, arts and technology were intermingled between the two cultures. The Egyptian culture developed alongside Cannan and Ancient Israel for thousands of years. Early on in its history, Egypt was unified under the rule of a single king, or pharaoh.

    Annals of Thutmoses III

Egypt used Canaan as a buffer against rival empires further north, such as the Mitanni. Canaan was also a source of revenue through taxes, tribute and trade. Egypt stationed small garrisons in major towns like Jerusalem and created administrative centers like the one at Beth Shean in Israel. These centers had buildings with distinctive Egyptian architecture and were inscribed with hieroglyphs. Canaan developed sporadically under Egyptian rule. Although some major centers prospered, many towns and villages declined in size or were abandoned. No new city walls were built.

Egyptian imperialism led to a dramatic increase in cultural exchange. Many Egyptian bureaucrats and soldiers were stationed in Canaan and Egyptians and Canaanites often lived side by side. Musical instruments, poetry, myths, weapons, clothing designs&endash;even gods and goddesses&endash;passed from one culture to the other. Many of these influences were long lasting. Scribes in Iron Age Judah continued to use Egyptian numbers 550 years after the end of the Egyptian empire.

    excerpt:

Although it may be interpreted from Egyptian written sources that Egypt exercised little control over this region after the Nineteenth Dynasty, the archaeological evidence from Palestine suggests otherwise at least for the first kings of the Twentieth Dynasty.

Beth Shan remained an Egyptian colony with houses built according to Egyptian style, complete with door lintel inscriptions in hieroglyphics. Egyptian architectural structures, square-shaped houses made of mud-brick, occur at Aphek, Ashdod, Beth Shan (1550 and 1700 houses), Gaza, Hesi, Jemmeh, Joppa, Tell el-Farah S (Sharuhen) and Tell Masos and Tell esh- Sharia (Ziklag).

The Timna copper mines continue to be controlled until perhaps Ramesis VI. Egyptian pottery can be cited from many early Iron I sites as well. In summary, it seems at least plausible to suggest that Egypt continued to dominate this region at least until the mid-part of the century and perhaps to the end of the century at least at Beth Shan.

Some very good shorts YouTube videos on "The Bible Project" channel , I especially like the fairly short and concise "Read Scripture" for a quick overview of the Books of the Bible.

    Is the Bible Divinely inspired?

The traditional Jewish position is that the Torah is all divine in origin. Yet nowhere does the broader Bible suggest that it was all written by God and in no way is this belief necessary to live as an observant Jew. The Jewish Bible, the Tanach, attributes authorship of some of its sections to God, but these are few and far between.

Modern biblical scholarship even casts doubt on the divine authorship of the sections of the Torah which explicitly claim to have come from God, including those that follow the formula “The Lord spoke to Moses.” The Torah contains too many contradictions to all be seen as divine. Do servants get released after six years, as stated Exodus, or at the Jubilee year (once every fifty years), as noted in Leviticus? Which divine speech is the correct one?

Biblical scholars have shown that the Torah contains too many contradictions and infelicities to be divine, and it instead came into being over a very long period of time, reflecting the understanding of various ancient Israelites, living in different places at different times, of what God wanted of them. (For more on this, see TheTorah.com.) But a text that reflects people’s understanding of God is quite different from a text dictated by God to Moses and preserved without error for three millennia — the view of Maimonides and a position upheld by many Jews within the Orthodox community.

    The whole article. https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/did-god-write-the-torah-and-does-it-matter/

Why would any rational intelligent adult believe that anything is divine just because some ancient person says that it is? If a God of any exists then it needs to show itself to the entire world instead of hiding in a dark cave like a bat.

It's a book. It has width - height - thickness - and weight. It has a mostly black or dark ink font on white or off-white pages.

Buy one of those books to read or put on the coffee table if you want to, or don't buy one of those books if you don't want to.

Perhaps you could start your own thread where you could ban 'demon possessed' folk that disagree with you. It would save you ignoring them.

Think about this. In the gospels we have 3 stories of the demon-possessed man and the Gadarene/Geneseratte swine. One story has 2 men and two stories have 1 man. One story the demons are not named. In the others the name Legion is given. In supposed exorcism this is necessaRY TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE SPIRITS. They enter the swine and are sent into the sea. But the demons are spirits. Water will not kill them The story only makes sense to the superstitious of the time. Modern understanding of the human mind gives us various reasons for demonisation.

Let's review the demon stories in pictures =
    http://www.thebricktestament.com/the_life_of_jesus/the_gerasene_demoniac/lk08_26-27.html 18 pictures

    http://www.thebricktestament.com/the_life_of_jesus/the_gadarene_demoniacs/mt08_28.html 6 pictures

    http://www.thebricktestament.com/the_life_of_jesus/demons_return_in_greater_numbers/lk04_31.html

So in Bible speech what are demons and how are they defined?

Leviticus 17:7 (CEB) = The Israelites must no longer sacrifice their communal sacrifices to the goat demons that they follow so faithlessly. This will be a permanent rule for them throughout their future generations.

Deuteronomy 32:17 (ERV) = They offered sacrifices to demons—gods that are not God. These were new gods they had not known before, gods their ancestors never knew.

1 Chronicles 16:26 (TLB) = The other so-called gods are demons, But the Lord made the heavens.

2 Chronicles 11:15 (CEV) = Jeroboam chose his own priests to serve at the local shrines in Israel and at the places of worship where he had set up statues of goat-demons and of calves.

Isaiah 13:21 (CEB) = Wildcats will rest there; houses will be filled with owls. Ostriches will live there, and goat demons will dance there.

Acts 5:16 (TLB) = And crowds came in from the Jerusalem suburbs, bringing their sick folk and those possessed by demons; and every one of them was healed.

1 Timothy 4:1 (CEV) = God’s Spirit clearly says that in the last days many people will turn from their faith. They will be fooled by evil spirits and by teachings that come from demons.

1 Corinthians 10: 20-21 (NKJV) = Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

Galatians 5:19-21 (TLB) = 19 But when you follow your own wrong inclinations, your lives will produce these evil results: impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, 20 idolatry, spiritism (that is, encouraging the activity of demons), hatred and fighting, jealousy and anger, constant effort to get the best for yourself, complaints and criticisms, the feeling that everyone else is wrong except those in your own little group—and there will be wrong doctrine, 21 envy, murder, drunkenness, wild parties, and all that sort of thing. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

James 2:19 (CEV) = You surely believe there is only one God. That’s fine. Even demons believe this, and it makes them shake with fear.

2 Peter 2:12 (TLB) = But false teachers are fools—no better than animals. They do whatever they feel like; born only to be caught and killed, they laugh at the terrifying powers of the underworld which they know so little about; and they will be destroyed along with all the demons and powers of hell.*

One of the more interesting verses is Revelation 9:14 (TLB) = saying to the sixth angel, “Release the four mighty demons held bound at the great River Euphrates.”

Compare that verse to Revelation 9:14 in the KJV = saying to the sixth angel, “Release the four mighty demons held bound at the great River Euphrates.”

So an analysis of the stories show that the Bible defines demons as false gods, idols, or people who follow spiritism.

The towns Gadara and Gerasa were primarily Greek towns and members of the Decapolis. The goat demon was most likely the Greek god Pan = https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5253/5462071296_9f770d54c3_z.jpg

The verses about the Jesus character driving out demons is an illustration of the First and Second Commandment = Exodus 34:11-17.

When he drove out the demons in the Greek towns he was purging idolatry from among the Jews and confining it to the Gentiles (the swine) who plunged off the cliffs to their deaths (the penalty for idol worship was death).

Saying that someone was possessed by demons simply meant that he worshiped false gods (idols) and the Greeks had a lot of gods that they worshiped. Even Paul and Barnabas were considered Greek gods (Acts 14:12).
