I don't think that anyone in any circumstance should keep incriminating evidence to himself. To do so is the start of a very slippery slope and one that will lead to chaos and injustice. It may be politically or socially embarrassing but a crime is a crime and the accused will have his/her day in court.

I agree that that would be the better for the party long term, assuming all could agree to and accept it, but I don't think everyone is going to see it that way.
Really, the best thing for the party would have been not to elect Trump in the first place, but now that he's here, sticking with him may be the best couse of action.
For instance, what happens,...or what do we do, if some of the folks who voted for Trump react badly to him being removed from office?
What are the arguments against just waiting for his term to expire? Is the damage he could do in office really greater
than the potential damage that could be caused to the country as a whole in removing him?

Well...let's hope you're right about that. And let us hope that you and Borat are right about how people will react,
because it seems like there are a growing number of people who want to see him impeached if it turns out he's guilty...

The country was certainly polarized during the Vietnam era...but, it seems we are even more polarized today than we were then. Do you agree?

Then what was all the whining about? It's yours, I debunked it, ... I guess you needed some way to draw attention away from the fact, right?

I sent you a link hoping you wouldn't say this stupidity. You said it anyway. The only instance in which "raza" can be translated as "race" is in the context of "the human race" ("la raza humana") and similar contexts.

The fact that words look similar doesn't mean that they are the same.

I don't know if racism is worse than being uneducated. But they often go hand in hand. I sent you a link to help you avoid showing your disregard for basic general knowledge. You blew it!

Serving the Hispanic community is your "proof" that (and I'm quoting you) "...everyone in La Raza is hispanic"? :roflol:

Obviously logical reasoning is not your thing. But let me ask anyway: does the fact that hospitals serve sick people mean to you that everybody in the hospital is sick?

    You are unpresentable...

Yes, its for promoting the Hispanic race, and only the Hispanic race, which is why they call themselves The Race.

If this was on anyone's website you'd be apoplectic.

We serve the White community through our research, policy analysis, and state and national advocacy efforts, as well as in our program work in communities nationwide. And we partner with Affiliates across the country to serve millions of Whites in the areas of civic engagement, civil rights and immigration, education, workforce and the economy, health, and housing.

Every day White people contribute to our country’s shared prosperity. They energize the economy and strive to make better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.

    You'd lose your ****ing mind.

The firing of Director Comey bothers me the most about all of Trump's snafu's.

That alone should constitute an article of impeachment.

Whether the GOP will support it or not has yet to be seen.

Trump is out of control and does not understand checks and balances.

He has been doing business corruptly for so long that he does not know any other way to behave.

What do you call when somebody has been educated three times in the fact that "La Raza" does not mean "The Race" and they keep repeating the same mistake?

It's not being "dumb". That doesn't quite cut it. The inability to grasp a very simple concept is way worse than that

The San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association explicitly notes on its website that translating la raza “as ‘the race’ is not only inaccurate, it is factually incorrect” (emphasis added):

Many people incorrectly translate the name, “La Raza,” as “the race.” While it is true that one meaning of “raza” in Spanish is indeed “race,” in Spanish, as in English and any other language, words can and do have multiple meanings. As noted in several online dictionaries, “La Raza” means “the people” or “the community.”

Translating our name as “the race” is not only inaccurate, it is factually incorrect. “Hispanic” is an ethnicity, not a race. As anyone who has ever met a Dominican American, Mexican American, or Spanish American can attest, Hispanics can be and are members of any and all races.

    [...]

Mistranslating “La Raza” to mean “the race” implies that it is a term meant to exclude others. In fact, the full term coined by [Mexican scholar José] Vasconcelos, “La Raza Cósmica,” meaning the “cosmic people,” was developed to reflect not purity but the mixture inherent in the Hispanic people. This is an inclusive concept, meaning that Hispanics share with all other peoples of the world a common heritage and destiny.

Collusion is not a crime in the US except in the anti-trust arena...If pence were to become President, the democrats would rue the day they lost Trump...and no case needs to be made for "allowing him to stay in office." He is the duly-elected President of the United States of America. The only case that needs to be made would be for the House to impeach him and the Senate to remove him.

I can tell you right now: if Pence became President, I for one will most definitely be wishing we had Trump back. However, we must endure the regret. Or we will have established the precedent that the President of the United States is above the law.

I don't think you have fully grasped what this means. So let me explain it to you. Think of the Democrat that you hate the most: Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi,... Or maybe it's some very dishonest Democrat that you haven't seen in the political scene yet. That person becomes President, and Republicans in Congress will have no power to impeach them. They can do whatever the hell they want. They could increase the size of government. They could declare spanish the official language of the United States. They could authorize illegal immigrants to vote.... they could disregard court orders and they would not be impeached because... we didn't want Mike Pence to be President.

    Comprende amigo?

The only precedence you would be establishing is that when people twist facts to try to turn something not even a crime into an impeachable offense because the losing side lost, every President for the next generation will face impeachment.

Nixon gave us the EPA. He was the next to worst President. Carter gave us radical Islam, he was the worst. Bubba gave us PNTR for China and Hillary and Andrew Cuomo. He's on par with Carter. Bubba was lucky he had Gingrich to drive the economy by cutting capital gains taxes.

Illegal immigrants already vote. They are responsible for at least 15 Congressional Districts and, therefore, 15 Electors in Presidential elections. They don't even need to cast a ballot to tip the scales to Democrats.

No. I have seen no serious evidence, but if he actually colluded with Russia to hack the DNC he needs prison.

I don't even want to hear how you figure Carter gave us radical Islam - that is so ridiculous.
I already told you I didn't vote for Carter - but to blame him for radical Islam is insane.
How do you think Reagan and Bush escaped without any penalty for selling Arms to Iran???
To me, that is about as bad as under Nixon when National Guard troops killed unarmed student protesters.
Compared to Reagan/Bush selling arms to Iran, Trump isn't that bad - but he hasn't been in long...
Gingrich is below slime mold on the evolutionary scale.

I can see you didn't get it. Partly due to fanaticism, partly to ignorance. You should know, because it has been explained a thousand times on this forum and everywhere, that an impeachable offense does not need to be a crime.

But, just to be clear, you believe that when Nancy Pelosi (or place whatever name of a Democrat you want) becomes President, she can abuse power so long as she doesn't commit any crimes, right? For instance, she could allow everybody who comes to the country to stay and work for an unlimited time while they investigate their background, while making sure that those under her authority drag their feet in doing that. It's not a crime, you know. All she has to do if questioned, according to your position, is say "Oh! They're just accusing me because they lost" and she gets a free pass. Do you understand this?

So now you need to remember for the rest of your life that you held this position. Don't bother to complain later. You would be proving to yourself that you are a hypocrite if you did.

Reagan wasn't impeached because of a backroom deal reached for fear that having two Presidents impeached in the same generation would significantly damage the Presidency. To be honest, your tripe is just tripe. It is not how the world works.

If Illegal immigrants are voting, the first thing to do is show evidence. Saying it over and over like a broken record solves nothing. If they do tip the scale to Democrats, that should be extremely easy to do. Shouldn't take more than a few days to take the public records and compare them to one of many sources to verify that the person actually exists, or can legally vote, or did actually vote. In order to "tip the scale" you would need thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of cases. It should take a few hours to at least come up with a couple of dozen examples. Why are there none?

Funny how Trump loyalists can so easily ignore facts and common sense in order to repeat what the wingnut media tells them as if it were actually true.
