It is obvous you know nothing about gun shows but are delivering a false narative. I asked which gun shows allow FFL's ro sell without a BC. You reponded with..thousands which is blatantly false. every event host and venue I have worked with FFLs setting up boths have a list of requirements and for FFLs. Every one I have attended requires even private seller selling from a collection from a booth to agee to have an FFL do a BC in a transfer. Those requirements and agreements, meant to protect the venue host from left BS, are available on line. So, absent Proof, your assrtion is total BS...I'd say it might be ignorance, but given your other posts I would suggest deliberate misrepresentation.

Depending upon acceptable margin of error, 200 sample size can be sufficient.

    It isn't.

So we know you don't know anything about gun laws.

By the way: don't you think it is rather stupid of you to suggest
a felon is afraid of touching a gun?

Depending on acceptable margin of error, you don't say?

    HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHA!

You mean like a wild-ass guess counts as long as you are willing to accept
    the margin of error?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

you are wrong yet again. while there is a very limited exception, a felon who holds or picks up a gun is in violation of 18 USC 922. I know because I was part of a trial team that caused a felon to get 15 years in federal prison for holding a firearm another felon ditched, for 15 seconds. One year for each second.

remind me of your experience as a federal prosecutor.

Oh are you denying you made a claim about being thrown out of more gun shows than I have attended? three of my posts were deleted as was yours. maybe a moderator will note that you said that.

Then you have demonstrated that you are devoid of a legitimate reason for being present on these forums. You refuse to back up your claims with anything even resembling evidence, and refuse to understand what is and is not legal within the united states.

So the fear of punishment or getting caught breaking a law isn't really a deterrent to felons?

You're trying to explain common sense to a liberal. It doesn't work.

There is no fear of punishment if the chances of getting caught are almost zero. Gun registration and UBCs would change that

Likely enough. How did Connecticut, New York, Canada and Germany do in their registration efforts? Unless it's 100%, it won't be sufficient?

[Columbo moment] I just thought of something - how would registration stop straw purchases, illegal street sales, theft and smuggling?

Canada does great with handguns. Every handgun is registered. Didn't you know this?

Its been explained to you how this is a false equivalence; you choose to not understand.
Thus your response does not address the point in any meaningful way, and therefore stands.

And yet, you stand by your statement that if 15000 people visit gun shows, 1350 are felons.

And yet you are the one that wants to pass more laws that would be ineffective and easy to circumvent...

As surprises no one, you again haughtily demonstrate just now misguided you are.... and that I am infinitely better versed in the subject of firearms and the laws pertaining to them than you will ever be.

You just made my point for me: felons don't fear breaking the law. IT'S WHAT THEY DO. We can pass laws that penalize their actions and allow society to punish them for their misdeeds... but laws banning them from committing the acts themselves will do nothing to stop them from doing it.
