Let’s put aside CO2 for a while and look at plastics - also “Big Oil”. It is now impossible to eat ocean fish without ingesting micro plastics

Thing is CO2 is invisible but the effects are there

Biden's EPA just announced they're going to require 67% of new vehicles sold be EVs by 2032. Oh, and 30% of heavy duty vehicles.

    Stupid enough for you?

    OK, there's a citation.

Now answer the question (I already don't care what crap you copy from the internet).

So how are climate scientists getting money from this?

Or reductions in CO2 should be sought elsewhere instead of being singularly focused on eliminating fossil fuels over a relatively short period of time. Change building materials and designs, for instance.

Global warming is the increasing average temperature of Earth.

Climate change has to do with the effects of that average warming, how it is distributed across Earth, how it is changing climates.

    Climate scientist pay

let’s look at Mawson base in the Antarctic- you would think they might get more for freezing their patooties off counting snowflakes but…

True since concrete does add CO2 to the atmosphere but the EV change is coming

The change toward carbon free sources of energy is increasing jobs. Claiming there is damage to our overall economy is something you would need to cite.

As far as I know, there are zero limits on buying used cars of any type, now or in the future, though in many places they need to pass emissions testing. There are solid reasons for that - including reasons unrelated to climate change.

Climate is super important to water management and agriculture. That has local and global political impact . It's also good to know how fast our oceans are rising and what the future of that brings.

Why would you be opposed to knowing more about something as important as climate change?

That's the product they're selling. That's why governments keep funding them.

So you're saying they make plastics?

OK. Now I understand the inanity.

In my lifetime it's been global cooling and then global warming and now it's climate change.

You guys ought to make up your mind.

They do. But the EPA, on the basis of what climate activists are pumping, is telling them what cars they can make.

    That never works out well.

The average temp of Earth has been increasing since the 1800's. Obviously, there are short term decreases and increases, but the average temp over time is increasing.

Climate change is just a better way of communicating the results of that warming.

Again, so what? Doesn't practically change anything no matter how you decide to redefine it next.
