The clash of civilization, Islam and politics

Geert Wilders, Member of Parliament in the Netherlands and leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV) regarded Islam as the foremost threat to freedom and liberty. Brigitte Gabriel claimed falsely that Islamic Jihadist drove her family out of their home in Lebanon during the Lebanese civil war. Mark Steyn reminded in his book “America Alone” the readers about the demographic problem in Europe. Sam Harris, an American writer, believe that Islam is the mother-load of all bad ideas. Islamophobia and xenophobia sell. The white supremacist, the other face of Neo-Nazism and Fascism sharing a common value: the hate of foreigners and immigrants. Meanwhile, continuous hostility with Islam, non-white immigration offering escape route from the real challenges confronting the West. The crisis of western civilization transformed by the media into a worldwide with Islam.

The state of tension with Islam translated by the ballot box into a surge of the populist movement in Europe and other countries like the U.S. Politicians, Machiavellian's by nature, find lots of ammunition in this state of tension to keep their political career going. On the other side, the same state of tension provided lots of opportunity for the Ultra-Orthodox Islamist groups like Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda to get their kiss of life, to recruit more followers, raise funds and franchise into more brutal and deadly groups like FSA(Free Syrian Army), AL-Nusra Front and ISIS. The state of chaos that followed the Arab Spring in several Middle Eastern countries provided a great opportunity for Arab populist movement, the other side of the coin, to won a ballot box victory in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. The attempt to overthrow the government in Syria under the banner of Arab Spring and creative chaos had up to now, failed.

The clash of civilization with Islam considered a gold mine for the western political establishment. It provides an opportunity to blame Islamic immigration for unemployment, a rise in violent crimes, the collapse of the economy and inflation. Anyhow, they need to blame somebody sometimes somewhere for their problems. In the U.S, the circumstances are different. The Latinos demonized by the media. They are the target of a media campaign, stealing jobs from honest hard-working Americans. However, Islam for American think tanks and activist presented in their speeches and writings. It has all added up, of course, to their bank account. Anti-terrorist laws passed so quickly in the parliaments with majority voting made many people believe that MP's did not even read it beyond the title and the bill number, the patriot act in the U.S and the bill C-51 in Canada are examples. It authorizes police and security agencies unprecedented powers to monitor phone calls, e-communication, fax machines without respect for people privacy and freedom, and without a judge signature.

Muslims ruled Al-Andalusia, Spain and parts of Portugal for 800 years. Islam was never a threat to the freedoms of local populations and their way of life. Freedom of worship granted for Christians and Jewish. Education and health care become universal; public baths were a common feature, great monuments built in every corner of Andalusia. The life in Andalusia flourished under the Muslim rulers. Jewish in Spain after suffering the prosecution from the inquisition courts were welcomed in Northern African countries. The American writer and historian Will Durant wrote in “The Story of Civilization” in chapter 14, section 4 about Islam in that part of Europe. The French polymath Gustav Le Bon wrote about religious tolerance and female rights in Islam in “The World of Islamic Civilization.” Anti-Islam writers and thinkers never inform their audience about these facts. Painting Islam with a single brush of violence could serve the purpose of the western political elites. It’s easier to manipulate people than telling them the truth. Politicians misled people with the demographic problem to create a psychological barrier of fear toward Muslims and Islam, to prevent a healthy interaction between Islam and the West. It also serves the intentions and goals of terrorist groups like ISIS, to spread the fear from Islam and to create a stereotype that all Muslims are terrorist.

And with these words, you have equated the (well-grounded) concern about political Islam (no, it is not merely a religion) with "white supremacy[y]," "xenophobia," "Neo-Nazism," and "Fascism."

Talk about painting--or rather, smearing--with a broad brush...

Your central point would appear to be that most Americans--and even Canadians--are really not too bright, and are easily manipulated; but that you are considerably more intelligent than that. (The proof of that, of course, being that you have a much different perspective as concerning Islam.)

Yes, as long as Muslims are in the minority, they do see it as being in their best interest to allow freedom of worship. That is purely pragmatic.

When they are in a position of power, however, they are to either convert or kill those who are not currently a part of the Muslim faith.

So you're saying the Muslims immigrants who claim their lives would be in danger if they're returned to their home countries are clearly lying, right? They're not telling the truth, they're just spreading Islamophobia propaganda about the threats they face?

So the US can use that as the basis for denying all Muslims' anmenty applications, right?
