    No. They do not.

If you and I enter into an agreement and we both willfully sign a contract that defines our rights and responsibilities under said agreement.

Years later I come back and say, “You know I never liked this part of our agreement because I consider it to be immoral. As such I’m no longer going to uphold that portion of our contract whether you like it or not.” You respond and say, “That’s fine. If you want to unilaterally alter our agreement without my consent then I want out of our partnership.”

Who is the traitor? You or I?

If I then come back and say, “No you’re not leaving our partnership and if I have to murder your men, women and children to stop you then that’s what I’m going to do.”

Who is in right and who is in the wrong? Furthermore if placed in that position would you not fight back?

Which proves that the Democrat Party wanted to shore up support for the Progressive Elites.

The UDC, which collected the money for the statues, was an arm of the Democrat Party of the 1920s and 1930s.

The initial Progressive Elites were simply a result of the rebranding of the Antebellum Slave Owner Class.

If you take a closer look at Lincoln, he believed that Democrats would never accept Blacks as being their equals. This is documented in several of his letters to folks in Ottawa, Illinois and Charleston, Illinois.

Personally, he was in line with the Swedenborgian faith, so saying that he did not believe that Blacks were his equal in the eyes of God is simply a falsehood.

Really? Maybe you should tell him that.

I present to you “The Great Emancipator” Abraham Lincoln in his own words:

“I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.”

“I have never had the least apprehension that I or my friends would marry negroes if there was no law to keep them from it, but as Judge Douglas and his friends seem to be in great apprehension that they might, if there were no law to keep them from it, I give him the most solemn pledge that I will to the very last stand by the law of this State, which forbids the marrying of white people with negroes.”

“There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people to the idea of indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races … A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation, but as an immediate separation is impossible, the next best thing is to keep them apart where they are not already together. If white and black people never get together in Kansas, they will never mix blood in Kansas…”

“Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man.”

The issue with the Confederacy is that Republicans and Southerners in general tend to equate the Confederacy with the ideals of each individual soldier, instead of the ideals of the people who founded the Confederacy who were the super wealthy plantation class. The people who made the actual decision succeed from the union did so in order to preserve their right to own slaves. This was literally every major speech about founding the Confederacy. They made it very clear that slavery was their main priority and that they were willing to send the poor to die in order to preserve it.

Back during the Confederacy the Progressives wanted to expand slavery. Back then they considered that progress.

Then why didn’t they just sign the Corwin amendment? No war necessary.

And we were traitors to the British when we did it and the south were traitors for attempting to do it.

I’ll ask again. Who is at fault in the agreement? The party who violates the contract and refuses to cease or the party who wants out of the agreement because the other side refuses to cease violating the contract?

Guess what, Ronnie...? Prior to World War II, MANY white people in the United States did, in fact, truly believe that "the negro is not equal to the white man"!

As any first-class geneticist will tell you, there are, undeniably, notable differences between the three races within humanity (Caucasian, Oriental, and Negroid), but instead of continuing an unfair, racist way of treating anyone in this country, way back in 1964, the United States made the Civil Rights Act into LAW. We followed that up in 1965 with the Voting Rights Act, too!

These were stunning, landmark achievements in the history of mankind, and they made every American citizen the full legal EQUAL of every other American citizen -- period! Thus, for over 55 years, we are the country that has done the most of any other nation on Earth to eliminate legalized inequality of the races -- BY FAR! But you'll never get today's American negroes to admit that!

But, going back and raking up all this hatred and running around bug-eyed and frothing at the mouth over it doesn't change even one day of our ever-more-distant HISTORY!

Consider: the Roman Empire enslaved huge numbers of tribal people in Northern Europe -- but you don't see Germans, or the Dutch, or the Belgians, or the French running around in circles raising hell about it TODAY, do you...? Throughout history, ALL people have been "bad" at one point or another.

The idea that the north can violate the constitution at will and then demand through threat of violence that the south continues to uphold their obligations under the same constitution is preposterous.

The individual Confederate soldier was the main reason slavery existed. White 'Supremacy' is a scam. The reason the Plantation owners wanted slavery was mainly because it kept the poor whites, possibly the most exploited and downtrodden group of people that have ever existed, contented with their lot, ("at least we're not slaves") The Southrons could have easily invented mechanical cotton pickers and most of them envied Northern factory workers with their docile "wage slaves" who only had to be paid starvation wages and never required housing or food, revolted or ran away.

Yes and no. Individual slaves cost about the equivalent of a good sports car. (or the very latest i-phone/watch), but most of the individual slaves owned by individuals were females. They weren't nearly as good at killing you, could be more easily trained to do a wide variety of tasks and far and way most importantly, breeding slaves could be downright fun. (This is slavery's dirty little secret throughout history. People don't have slaves for work unless the work is so onerous or dangerous people won't do it at all for any money. Otherwise, slaves make really shitty workers at just about any occupation but one)

You seem to be ignoring the fact that we were the only country to go war over slavery, other countries like Britain just ended slavery and that was that. Plus the CRA and etc had to be forced onto people.
