The Death Toll in Yemen Is So High the Red Cross Has Started Donating Morgues to Hospitals

Almost a year and a half into Saudi Arabia’s U.S.-backed bombing campaign in Yemen, the humanitarian toll has become so extensive that the International Committee of the Red Cross has taken the unusual step of donating entire morgue units to Yemeni hospitals.“The hospitals were not able to cope,” said Rima Kamal, a Yemen-based spokesperson for the Red Cross. “You could have more than 20 dead people brought into one hospital on one single day. The morgue capacity at a regular hospital is not equipped to handle this influx of dead bodies.”

“At times several dead bodies had to be stored on one shelf to avoid further decomposition,” Kamal continued. “The situation was not sustainable.”Saudi Arabia began bombing Yemen in March 2015, after Houthi rebels took control of the capital and forced Yemen’s Saudi-backed leader, Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi, into exile. The United Nations has since attributed the majority of the war’s 6,500 deaths to the Saudi coalition, which the U.S. and U.K. have resupplied with tens of billions of dollars of weapons. - Source

Make no mistake about this, the inhuman pigs of the saud regime are committing genocide in Yemen, though none calls it that ---- yet. Already, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and
Doctors Without Borders have chronicled the sauds war against Yemeni civilians, all of this being done with US supplied weapons courtesy of the Obama administration.

Let's see. Obama and Clinton's policies, or lack thereof, completely derailed the internal politics in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Turkey, and Pakistan. Nice work guys. You drew lot's of red lines in the sand only they were drawn in blood.

My country is controlled by an unimaginable evil, that supports death and destruction throughout the world. The retribution will be a natural calamity so great that every American soldier in the world will be called back to help the people survive. May God forgive us.

Because it wouldn't make any sense.

Did Hillary Clinton not claim full responsibility for Gadhafi's torture and murder and the resulting power vacuum that lead to enormous bloodshed with the clownish "We came we saw he died" statement?

... death toll in Yemen ...

    BLAME OBAMA!

    - - - Updated - - -

All of these deluded right wingers love to blame Obama but offer no solutions to this "problem". One that isn't ours.

    So, where are your solutions?

One solution may be for America to just stay out of the Mid East altogether. That area has been tribal for thousands of years and nothing the U.S. can do will change that. Far too many lives have been disrupted or terminated over desert property.

Iran funds the al Houthis that overthrew the government in Yemen.. They want to control the Bab al Mandab and the Straits of Homuz .. meaning the would control the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.

As did Saddam Hussein and look where that got us. Lefties whine about US involvement around the world. Now is the time to take your stand. The Mid East problem exists because of oil. New technologies has pretty much eliminated that need on a large scale. Move on, pull out.

That is precisely what I have said all along. Then the right wingers criticize me when I say so. Strangely, they are silent when you did.

So where are the solutions from the rest of the forum right wingers?

As usual, they post an endless array of criticisms, they wrongly attribute these "problems" (none of which are any concern of ours) to Democrats, then they attack those who criticize any policy that goes on overseas, but they never offer solutions to these problems. It is always criticism upon criticism, attack after attack, insult after insult but no solutions.

Well, let's hear it right wingers WHAT THE HELL ARE YOUR SOLUTIONS???

There has been an interesting development in Yemen recently. It appears that Saudi-Wahhabi genocidal war against Yemenis brought Yemenis of all faiths and political persuasions together. The exact opposite of what Saudis and their allies hoped for. So Saudis resorted once again to their favourite pastime terror.

    Allow me to elaborate:

If the UAE remains a “loyal” ally of the kingdom it stands nevertheless in aversion of the infamous “Muslim Brotherhood” which Saudi Arabia helped propped before it chose to repudiate it.

The UAE, readers might have noticed, recently recalled its troops away from Yemen, a move which has profoundly displeased Riyadh. A move which only served to highlight what many experts have already noted: that Saudi Arabia already lost its war in Yemen

Another point worth considering is that the UAE has supported Riyadh out of geopolitical necessity, and not ideology. The UAE is not inherently opposed to a change of the political guards – something the kingdom of course cannot even begin to fathom, let alone accept.

Before ever-evolving and fast-changing dynamics, and in the face of a growing revolutionary incursion into its territories Riyadh reverted to its preferred weapon of war: Terror.

Terror stroke at the heart of Aden to achieve several goals:

Saudi Arabia needs for Yemen to explode into a civil war.
Saudi Arabia needs for Terror to carve a real dominion directly atop the world oil route.
Saudi Arabia needs to generate enough fear so that world powers would finally sanction a ground invasion and defeat the Resistance under the cover of counter-terrorism.
Saudi Arabia needs for the narrative to move away from the many and atrocious war crimes and crimes against humanity it has carried against the Yemeni people.

The sea-port of Aden has long been coveted by Wahhabi radicals for it offers an opening onto several continents. The simple fact that Aden was broken into by Terror as it sits under Saudi patronage only serves to affirm Riyadh’s links with Terror … but then again we all know that.

It’s what we do with that knowledge which will determine what comes next.

90% of all the people on this forum are right wingers. While I am glad that you offer a solution, where are the rest of your fellow right wingers?

Are they just going to keep on harping, whining, whimpering, and continually engaging in an endless array of hate filled recriminations for the rest of eternity?

Let's hear it from the rest of the forum right wingers.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOUR SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS YOU KEEP HARPING ABOUT?????

Saddam was NO threat to anyone..... The ME problem was never about oil.. There's plenty of it and they want to sell it. The source of conflict is Israel.

It's not my job to worry about anyone but myself. Your whining doesn't change that. In the future, I would suggest keeping temper tantrums to yourself. Sign of weakness.

So where are the rest of the forum's far right radicals - where are their SOLUTIONS to the "problems" they keep harping about?
