The DNC used to get a lot of money from unions because the unions had the power to compel their members to give money to that political party. After the Supreme Court decided that this was unconstitutional, the Democrat's coffers have coincidentally dried up. Recently, the RNC has gotten a much larger share of its money from small donors than the DNC has: https://legalinsurrection.com/2019/05/small-donors-propel-republican-fundraising-over-democrats/

The latest failed impeachment attempt is also a factor in that of course.

A second source of DNC money used to be Wall Street. Faced with a slew of people talking about wealth taxes, they also seem to have stopped donating.

As such, there's been a significant drop off in both small donors and finance-industry donors. Where is the DNC going to be getting its money from in the future?

Where they've gotten a large proportion of their funds since the clinton regime - illegally from foreign sources. The dnc is a subsidiary of, and a complete whore for any country willing to pony up the bux be it China, Russia, etc.

I'll bet you can find more sources that say those countries are backing trump than you can find backing any Democrats. :)

Yet it was the Trump campaign that got busted for taking illegal funds from Guiliani’s Russian buddies - who are now in jail. Funny.

They'll get em the same way they did in 2016- from the Clinton Foundation when they (unrelatedly, of course) nom her instead of who democrats want to vote for.

Voters know Hilldog is a loser. 2016 proved that. She doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting the nomination, assuming she throws her hat in the ring again.

Im hoping you're right. I dont want 'Trump v Clinton' debate reruns anymore than anyone. But I also don't think she's any less popular now than she was in 2016 when she squeaked through a pop majority. I don't see Biden or Warren managing even that.

Any dem I’ve spoken to holds the same opinion of Hilldog. She needs to go away. personally I’d like to see Buttigieg get the nomination. He’s the most moderate candidate I’ve seen and I believe America needs that right now.

So what we need is a 92 trillion energy expenditure and 52 trillion medicare for all and whatever it costs for free housing and college on top of that.

That should get us out of debt.

We have been going broke for a long time.

The problem? We spend too much..
We need to strangle the federal government.

We need to cut hundreds of billions from government and dump it all onto the national debt

Y'know Daniel, you have said elsewhere many times that deflecting onto someone else does NOT help your own argument. Am I to understand that you've changed your mind on this policy?

they were right then, cause the Trump recession is coming, could be as bad as 1929, maybe worse considering the debt of consumers and corporations as well as the national debt

I do not think it matters who wins in 2020, too late to reverse it now, best we can hope for is to delay it

Bloomberg has the ability to not only fund himself, but to fund a lot of Dem congressional candidates as well. I heard it said that he funded a lot of the Dem congressional candidates that won seats in 2018.

They still had the billionaires until they started talking about taxing away all their wealth.

Trump won without running any ads in 2016 - Democrats could try doing that. ;-)
