    It’s just reality butters. There is no federal law that any sanctuary city/state is violating. No state can be forced to enforce federal laws.

    Oh no it isn't.. Is so far from reality and data that it's alarming.. If you cant acknowledge sanctuary cities or states then you are not up to speed about illegal immigration..

    I’ve shown that it does. I’ve quite clearly shown how and why it applies to birthright citizenship. It’s why any child born on US soil is a citizen.

    “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside”

    The meaning of jurisdiction is important. It is defined in plyler, as I’ve shown you.

    I do acknowledge them. I’m simply and correctly pointing out they are not violating any federal law. States can not be made to use state resources to enforce federal law. This is reality butters.

    Yes, really butters. I even bolded the portion showing you are wrong. Thanks for reposting it for me. As you can see from the ruling, it applies to every single person inside US borders, regardless of their immigration status. (Except diplomats).

    This is simple it’s the difference between a man and adolescent. Some grow up (Obama) and some don’t (Trump).

    I do believe people do the best they can in the environment they’re in. These two grew up in vastly different environments and I haven’t a clue the challenges posed by either.

    Of course Hillary reminded us that professional politicians must present a public facade while saving their private opinions for the back office, away from public scrutiny.

    Obama, like almost every career politician, presents a carefully scripted and polished public facade while reserving his most candid face for his trusted cohorts.

    Trump seems to have no such public/private views... he is unfiltered. There is no governor or delay between whatever he's thinking and a worldwide tweet. It drives people who WANT the familiar, warm, dark Kabuki theater of professional politics... crazy.

    When Obama gives a speech he has the tilt of the head and the arrogant manner of one that know's what is best for the lowly masses. His words appeal to intellectual snobs that feel they too know how to run the lives of others....and that is how they intend to use government!

    Very little. If you don't put bread on the table, you are out of a job. I don't care if you are polished and a great speaker, doesn't matter.

    About 3,500 when I started. About 16,000 after we were acquired. Not long after, I quit and started my own practice.

    Everything Trump says and does is publicized. We are all part of the corporation.

    I thought about this thread for awhile, the subject matter. I really didn’t quite expect the response, but then I wasn’t thinking about conservatives when I began to write. However, the ideology of the respondents is quite evident, isn’t it?


    The point that keeps popping up, at least to my ears, is a clear difference in mentality between Trump and Obama, or Trump and Pelosi. Or even Trump and Lindsey Graham for that master. Just look to the depth of thought. How shallow it is, coming out of Trump’s mouth. They late night TV talk show hosts keep telling us Eric is the dumb one. But Don Jr., what a goof. Why do they let him talk? He only ruins their brand. But then maybe that is what their brand has become. Come luxuriate with us, bathe in your ignorance in style. Or just stay at our hotel, to curry favor with Dad.

    Everyone of the tell tale books and letters to newspapers, about the inner workings of the White House tell a similar story. About the ineptitude of Trump. Even Lindsey was caught on camera, explaining how presidents usually want briefings that are 3-5 pages or more in length, depending on the topic at hand. But Trump, one page is too much. Trump needs it in a paragraph. And one that isn’t too long. Max Tillerson called him a f$&@?!&@ moron.

    He is obviously a bumbling boob. He has soured relations with friends and has been played by our adversaries. Recently Kim said he wouldn’t do Trump anymore favors of being seen with him, unless Trump gives him something.

    Is that what the meetings with Kim were all about? Trump backed off pressure on North Korea, just so Trump could have a photo op with Kim? It is kind of what Kim is saying tauntingly.

    The corruption aside, what I am really saying, is that if Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Trump, all day down and had an in depth policy discussion, Trump would be lost. You can hear in the way he speaks, the things he says, the subjects he broaches.

    It has nothing to do with management style, it has to do with competence.

    Anyhow, where did you get the idea that image means nothing in the corporate world? In case you didn’t notice, but Trump always wears the same suit with a too long tie, and an iconic hairdo. It is an image he has carefully cultivated. His image is his brand.

    Corporations, and all business for that matter, live and die by their image. Even within corporate culture, projecting the right image, at the right time, does much to help one up the ladder. Being memorable, is a benefit.

    Computers were once resisted by conservatives. But eventually, most have been drug into the future, otherwise we wouldn’t be having these wonderful conversations.
