The "DNC Server in Ukraine" theory is a joke

Hopefully the punishment will that he voters invite the guy who currently sits on the Oval Throne to go spend more time with his many wives.

 

The "server" is a virtual server. There is no physical server. The server itself is nothing but a backup of the original virtual server. And it's in Washington and in the DNC headquarters, and with Crowdstrike, and... anywhere they want because they can make as many copies of it as they want. They could send one to Ukraine, if they want. Just a matter of copying the backup.

The physical server is part of a Datacenter. Probably from a provider like Dell, AWS, Azure, ... or similar. The actual files can be physically stored across many machines which are shared with thousands of other servers.

So if they wanted to ship the DNC server to Ukraine, they would need to ship something like this....







And, of course, there is nothing to be learned from a physical server anyway. The backup on which Crowdstrike and the FBI worked on is a bit by bit copy of the original virtual server

Trump is ****ing insane for pushing this theory, and to hold up military aid to Ukraine unless they investigated this insane theory, shows just how nuts Trump is and that he is unfit for office.

demanding that a country investigate your insane/irrational theories or you will withhold foreign aid, is grounds for impeachment.

If they never left the country, then why wasn't the FBI allowed to inspect them? You have a company run by Ukrainians in a country listed as one of the most corrupt in the world and had a president declare Trump wasn't fit to be president and who cooperated with the DNC to dig up dirt on Trump campaign members, but no, Trump is using conspiracy theories to justify investigating election interference from 2016. If Democrats have nothing to hide, they have nothing to worry about.

No matter where the servers are there is nothing gained by finding them. Any evidence they might have held have been long since erased or destroyed.

Nobody said that; it was just suggested by Democrats because it sounded like a good story for them to use against Trump. The reference to servers by Trump was for Ukraine servers which Crowdstrike also assessed for Russian interference.

Well Duh... The DNC server that Crowdstrike supposedly looked at never left the country.

What Trump is referring to is one of the Crowdstrike servers located in the Ukraine.

The server that has some of the third party FBI requests and some information that the FBI didn't request but was obtained anyway.

Admiral Rogers cut off Crowdstrike's access and that is why the FISA warrant abuses started to replace the illegal back door unmaskings.

Crowdstrike was one of the contractors that was found by the court to be garnishing information that they did not have legal authority to collect.
