As long as there wasn't any undue 'precipitation' it's all good....:D

I rarely remember my dreams, but a typical dream goes something like this: I am in a place, I walk through a door and fall into space where I land on the back of a dragon that is attacking a village where I see that dragon chick from Game of Thrones. Or I dream that I am an elite special ops soldier taking down a drug cartel because I was playing Ghost Recon Wild Lands before bed.

For the past two days I've had dreams disturb perhaps from their consistency of travel, space travel, maths & women.

I started the night before last, I had a dream about this girl, again, same girl I find in my dreams...
but then all I remember after that is... Fighting the sleep, and laying in bed trying not to sleep as I was well rested, to half wake/dream about 'learning space flight'... and how to move a space craft that kind of looked like an F-16 , and how it moved in the vacuum of space - I learned this on a computer, but it was my dream/my doze/half awake/half asleep dream. - this lesson was in front of me and I had to learn it (like someone using your mind as a monitor telling you to look/learn/study how it moved) - It was Star Trek Starfleet Academy teaching me space flight, as I interpreted it.
As I say, I woke up, tried to fight the sleep, but I slept half a day away.
Last night's dream, I got given an assignment or a job for Instagram that saw me travel the earth, and I remembered there wasn't anywhere on Earth that I haven't seen, be it desert, Japan, India, tropics, wherever, everywhere - I remember feeling happy, that this job/assignment helped me see the world, and I was just thinking about, with a smile, as I was doing my job in Gibraltar, which was just a job of exploration and documentation, for Instagram... And this girl, that girl? IDK, some girl..
Then... I found myself with £5.00 (about as much as I had in my pocket in the jeans I fell asleep in at the time)...
    - and I felt like a... slob.
The weird thing about this most recent dream, with money in my pocket, I could feel.
I was in this Chinese all you can eat I know in London's Chinatown/(pretty much in Soho that I know)... and I had £5.00 in my pocket and I remember I had rice, 2 BBQ chicken wings and some bell peppers from 3 trips to the buffet... and I asked for the bill which was £5.65...
I was ashamed, embarrassed, looking at the food on the table (the rice and the BBQ chicken wings and peppers) that I had...
and looking at the bill, and knowing I was short, I just... Sat there, working out what to do or how to break the news the lady behind the till/cash register that I was short, when I heard a beautiful waitress tell this other waitress, who also looked beautiful
    'Here's the white man.'
And I said, feeling like a slob but also feeling better since I heard her point me out to her friend
So I smiled as she was smiling (even though I felt like a slob) I said
    "Hey! Thanks!"
Because that really cheered me up...
I accidentally elbowed her bony Asian/Oriental hip/arse by mistake as I went to high five her or whatever.
I felt accidentally elbowing her in the hip that I remember thinking 'I know it's not a dream because I just felt her hip bone)..
THEN... It all changed and I was pulled back to Starfleet Academy/Space/IDK, somewhere/Star Trek... I was no longer a slob I was pulled back
And given maths 101/A crash course in maths, simple maths - They told me maths was important, I also figured those two Asian girls were alien girls. (Because I think I saw them in another form)/But I was still cool with them/liked them/could tell it was them.
A human was teaching me though (trying to teach me), and said that maths was important for gravity.
And then I saw an empty bowl of a different colour (the bowls in the restaurant were/are white), the bowl I saw next to this machine was black, and I saw gravity displaced under it and the bowl float and was told that maths was important to my training.

I haven't had any Star Trek (well I had 1 in America in 2001 when this kitten I knew out there woke me up by purring on my chest and in my dream I was in TNG and Worf was having a heart attack that turned out to be the noise of that kitten who woke me up that morning).. (but aside from that dream in 2001, I've never had any Star Trek dreams, and that dream was just dreaming about being on the bridge of the Enterprise and seeing Worf having a heart attack and was just another dream that only sticks out because the noise that woke me up was a kitten sitting on my chest that made it into that dream)
    - I've never had Star Trek like dreams before this week though, but I found myself fighting sleep at one point because I wasn't tired, but still slept, dreaming about aliens and lessons on space and physics over movement and stuff as well as exploration.
And that was what was so weird, the on going theme, and them happening no matter what. I would be in bed then my eyes would be closed and it got all spacey/Starfleet lesson like.

    Odd.

Blimey I'm glad I don't have dreams like that! I'd need to get a good night's sleep when I woke up. :eyepopping: :sleepy:

I dreamed that I had just survived a flood at my house. I walked to my parents house and my family was waiting for me. People were bringing us supplies and gifts. That's where I woke up.

I dreamt I was back in my old job and in a patrol car with a work partner who was making noises like a band-saw. I kept telling him to cut it out. Woke up, Mrs. D was snoring in my ear. Foolishly I shared that with her this morning. She'll probably resume talking to me Monday night or maybe Tuesday night, not sure right now.

    http://mindfuldreamer.com/alligator-and-crocodiles-dream-interpretation-and-meaning/

Or, you watched a movie about crocodiles. :D

    Further down
Running Away From a Crocodile/Alligator: To dream you are running away from a crocodile or alligator means you are afraid of confronting a fear. What fear you are afraid of confronting will greatly depend on the characteristics of the alligator/crocodile itself and other parts of the dream.

Back in my teens I had a recurring dream about a large wicker chair. It seemed ominous. I looked away; looked back and saw that it had changed position and was closer. I was then overwhelmed with fear and knew it was coming for me. I think I usually woke up when I saw it moving towards me.

I now have my grandmother's wicker rocking chair in my bedroom. It watches me.

Usually 'rocking-chair' stories are about them rocking when there's no-one around to make them rock? There's one in The Lady in Black.

The one in my dreams wasn't a rocking chair. It was just a large wicker chair with a fan back. And a distinctive aspect of the dreams was that I never saw the chair move until the end of the dream. I could only see that it had moved when I looked away. But it was intensely nightmarish. It was a terrifying dream and I had it for years.

I've long suspected that the last 30 seconds of this clip is what originally instilled a bit of a fear of inanimate objects coming to life. I remember watching it when I was very young and being scared by it.

Oh okay. It was your mention of the chair 'moving' that put me in mind of a rocker.
