I am not quite sure what to do with this theory so.....
at least I can begin a discussion with this so that I can find this article again later on.

    This is rather interesting......
could this tunnel fit with the tunnels seen by near death experiencers????

That is very interesting. I have no idea what the significance of it is, if it is true, though if true I am sure it is very significant.

Are all star systems connected in such a way? I've heard talk that the universe is structured similarly to synapses of the brain. Are these tunnels part of the nervous system of the universe? lol. Who knows? I'd love to know more.

I believe it was Stephen Hawking in A Brief History of Time who suggested that the universe may be more like a balloon in which everything that exists does so within the balloon's surface.

I've heard the universe described as a loaf of raisin bread when it is baked, where there is no real center that everything expands away from, but everything gets further away from everything else. If everything is connected, as the article seems to say, I wonder if there is a point where everything begins to retract again?

IDK. Maybe either way. I think Hawking or whoever came up with the balloon thing did so because the background noise in the universe is basically the same in every direction it has been measured

This cosmic phenomenon is detectable only through serious analysis of data from our major telescopes, including those based in space.

It is super fantastically beyond anything visible to humans on Earth, as what we see with binoculars includes a few stars in the Milky Way galaxy and a few tiny fuzzy blobs that are nearby galaxies. In contrast, these filaments are made up of huge numbers of galaxies.

It's long been known that the universe has long filaments that are rich in galaxies and surround vast areas of very little mass - maybe something like Swiss cheese that is mostly holes.

I think the proper way to treat stories like in the OP is to wait for confirmation.

Of course imho, our understanding of the structure and origin of the universe should focus on actual data, not on listening to the fabulous dreams of those sleeping or dead.

    Good points....
but even Dr. Albert Einstein reports being given amazing insights while napping.... or asleep.....
and some unusual phenomena can lure people into theoretical physics for more than merely the money involved.

Nobody does the work to become a theoretical physicist because of some sort of opportunity for wealth! Once you have a physics Phd, the next problem is trying to find someone somewhere willing to hire you. And, more often than not the employment direction will be in some area of applied math - which could be in finance or who knows where.

And, I don't see anything mystical about our brains continuing to function during sleep, even if not very well.

I have no respect for the crazy notions of finding truth after dying due to mystical messaging from the beyond. Giving special credence to those who come back from the dead is pure religion and without any justification.

Some people are shown the basics of serious Theoretical Physics during dreams or other forms of guidance.

Based on what I have read Mr. Alexei Novitzky is playing in the major, major leagues in terms of having
a really good understanding of the truly huge picture that would include Applied Multiverse Theory.

You can find one person who has said pretty much anything you want to hear.

    That just isn't evidence.
