The EU Army

Do not you want to get rid of the American occupation? Together with France and the European allies to protect the eurozone in the world?

 

Who are you proposing to protect it from?

Depending on who you think your enemies are, your needs for alliance will differ.

If all you are worried about is Jihadi terrorists, then you don't need any alliances in Europe at all.
If Russia, then you are ****ed without America.
If China then you are ****ed without America.
If America, then you are ****ed with America.

I'm thinking the later. You want to be enemies with America.
Which is a schoolboy error. History should have taught you the error of these ways by now.

Typically American occupations are jolly pleasant. Can't say the same for German ones.

 

First of all, protection from the United States and Russia. America is the enemy of Germany because it does not lead the occupying forces out of it.

 

Oppose! My grandfather had a jolly good time in Paris.

 

So every sane person in the world cannot enter into an alliance with Germany then.
If Germany seeks confrontation with either of these great nations, let alone both, then what it is calling for is WW3. A new world order.
You are all going to die.

Avoid Germany. It is not a safe place to raise your family. They just never learn.

 

Why on earth should Germany seek a confontation with anyone? Because it worked out so well the last two times? We reduced out military massive and our population is highly pacifistic.

Since I think Germany doesn't need an army as long as America/Russia/Britain has one in Europe.
Which is why they have managed for so long both without a serious army and without war.

Germans have benefited from a peace dividend that America is shouldering the most financial burden for. Given that standards of living in Germany are comparable to standards of living in the US, it's no wonder they are unhappy about that. They are not alone in this.

In the UK, we like having American occupation. It saves us a butt load of money on air forces and navy's etc. As long as it is free, we'll take it with thanks.

We like peace. We don't wish for a new world order.

 

Just so you know, it was your grandfathers intention to enslave my father and every male in this country over the age of 15. To enslave them and work them to death on a foreign country. Or worse.
He is the reason nukes were invented. He is the reason why if you build an EU army we will destroy it.

 

The Bundwehr was a serious army until 1990 and the military expenses fluctuated between 2,7% and 5,2% of our GDP. The peace dividend has been happily accepted by nearly all NATO countries. An EU army will be strong enough without spending far more money than today.

 

What's the purpose for this EU army?

It can't be to protect against the Russians, since NATO already does that pretty well.

So, either to "protect" against Turkey, or to get smaller nations to fall in line?

 

Paranoia is not a substitute for humor.

 

It's about European cooperation and spending money in an intelligent way.

Why do you need an army?
Answer: To fight us with. That is the only honest answer.

We aren't stupid and if you build it we are going to destroy it.

At least I know who isn't a reasonable person to discuss with. I'm out, life is too short.

 

Keep marshalling your forces against us, and it's going to be a whole lot shorter.
This is as reasonable as you are going to get. Unreasonable is when we just nuke without warning.
But you have been warned. The option to avoid that fate is on the table.
Your country has a history of ignoring those reasonable warnings. Learn from history. This is a mistake.

My advice to you, is choose another path for yourself and your nation.
One that people will respond more reasonably to. One which you will all survive.

Here's a clue, reasonable people don't need armies. They are for settling disputes between unreasonable people.
