This corner of the forum seems to be completely left. As it seems, you would gain mor views if you put it into a current event section or so under an excuse. A video critcizing the Eurocentric world view put in the Western European section of this forum gets no reactions because in fact nobody gives a damn on the European perspective. Too funny for words.

You go back to eras in which the Europeans could not be seen in any way as technologically or with regard to civilization advanced. You go back to the times of the crusades in which the Muslim world was the more advanced, which is why the crusades resulted in humiliating defeats and later on a desperate fight against an enemy which was technologically and civilizatory advanced. In this time many of the ideas of the ancient Europeans ideas, philosophy and science was preserved by the Muslim world and swept back into Europe later on. You can make an argument that the discovery of the New World very slowly changed the game. The breakthough was without a doubt the industrialization. The 18th and 19th centuries were the times in which Europeans dominated the World. In that sense the arguments you made concerning the times before make no sense, as Europe was on the defense.

I thought the Muslims were advanced with their numeric system and science Vs. Roman Numerals and; less science - In those Crusade times of the dark ages where England had King Arthur and the Round Table, so like, many years ago, too many to be honest, to actually mean anything anymore in geopolitics.

As for that video, who said it was criticising the Eurocentric World View?
I however believe our world is shifting away from Europe in global influence and the EU's a downward spiral adding to this shift - personally, in my own opinion.
Though that song rocks, it's ironic you assume a black girl wants to criticise the Eurocentric world view because she has an accent, while criticising itself calling it irrelevant and anything that lady said in the video that you didn't like means you don't like the place/Europe because she only identified it, not judged it, unlike you (or me) now that's ironic.

I dont criticize it, Europe had its time. Medicore powers not up to the reality that they no longer have a saying in important affairs worldwide, but feel entitled to can become a problem. France, the UK and Germany are some examples from Europe. Its natural, you dont give up a world view over night, but it can be ridiculous. It must be amusing, when they lesson and criticize China for their treatment of Hong Kong or the Uyghurs.

As for criticism, I consider the presumption that other world views are based on harmony while the European is based on violence rather a critical view on that subject.

Few things are more 'amusing' than rape and genocide!

For healthy people not, but ok, noted that you find such phantasies amusing. Maybe you should look for professional help to deal with your psychopathic traits, before you will live out at least your rape fantasies, which amuse you according to your own comment?

Actually it was you who mentioned "amusement" at China's rape and genocide of their Muslim minorities.

No, I was mentioning amusement when a a former super power doesn't realize its no super power anymore and tries to lesson a new one, not realizing that it doesnt have a leverage at all. It is China who will more and more define how our world will look like.

Actually it was you who gave an insight into his sexual preferences and fetishes

I have pity on the poor dumb bastards in some nation that make that error in judgement.
China's geography and lack of alliances are a hammer to the head of that idea. Here are China's problems in a nutshell:
    • It's a dictatorship, where a small group rules a big group. That is never as effective as a Free Market because of the "Local Knowledge" problem (look it up.)
    • Except for one easily blockaded coast, it's a landlocked country, and because China's leaders are a bunch of thieving arrogant pricks, they have no alliance system.
    • The one coast they do have, is dotted with islands. Once the Allied Navies of the Free Democracies plug the gaps of the "First Island Chain" followed by doing the same with the "Second and Third Island Chains" we have 3 layers of blockade sealing up China like we pounded a cork into a bottle.
China has focused on an export economy rather than developing their domestic economy, because to develop their domestic customer base would empower them, and they fear than an empowered people would promptly overthrow the evil dictatorship that rules them, and they are probably right. Once you resort to ruling by force, you are riding the tiger and at some point the tiger tears you to pieces. In the Free Democracies there is no such issue because The People already rule and so have no reason to revolt. This is why the United States has the longest surviving government in world today.

Since China did not empower their people, they have the following vulnerabilities:
    • They have to access foreign markets to sell their goods.
    • Unlike us, they cannot produce the energy or food they need without access to Blue Water via their easily blocaded coast.
    • Once they are under blockade, the question is, who in the country gets the now scarce food and energy, and who pedals bikes and starves.
    • If our requirement to lift the blockade is regime change, then Beijing picking this fight is their own death sentence.
    That's a fabrication.

Cool fantasy stuff. The best part was that China was unable to develop a domestic customer base (ok, the pure denial of the fact that China has allies shows also a lack of basic knowledge of foreign policy), but beside that, you refer to a bigger "we". You fantasize about a "we" as a West, while especially the UK, but also France and Germany have proven there is no bigger we, nor will there ever be. The UK went one step further, where Germany and France simply fail in building in up, the UK said "**** you" to a bigger we.

I must give you that much, I have never seen such an amount of ignorance and ashaming low level of knowledge of foreign policy and even geography written down with such a confidence.

You have a bad memory, I will re-cite your own words.

Before Trump, China's export economy was 19.58% of GDP. By the time Trump was done, their export economy was down to 18.5%

    https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NE.EXP.GNFS.ZS?locations=CN

And look what that tiny reduction did to their GDP growth:

If you don't think China has an export dependent economy that relies on shipping through their easily blockaded single coastline, you aren't paying attention. This is certainly no secret to the navies of the Free Democracies.
Top Nations ranked by military spending in $Billions:

    United States 649
    China 250
    Saudi Arabia 67.6
    India 66.5
    France 63.8
    Russia 61.4
    United Kingdom 50
    Germany 49.5
    Japan 46.6
    South Korea 43.1
    Italy 27.8
    Brazil 27.8
    Australia 26.7
    Canada 21.6
    Turkey 19

    https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/military-spending-by-country

Point out China's "allies" on that list and explain how they will break a 3 layer Naval Blockade by the alliance of NATO and the Free Democracies. Compare our relationship with our next door neighbor, Canada, which actually has a Blue Water Navy compared to China's relationship with India, who would be a valuable ally to China, were China not ruled by such arrogant thieving pricks that India hates them with a passion.
Fake News. Trump got results and the Free World is safer today for his efforts:

Average increase for 3 years before Trump - 1.16%
Average increase for Trump's first 3 years? 4.57% an average annual growth increases of 4 TIMES.

He stood up to them all, and prevailed, and the Free World is safer thanks to his efforts.

Fake news. My points are concise, tightly reasoned, logically sound, and well sourced.

I am not sure that the EU has ever been a factor in a so-called Eurocentric world. IMHO, it has been more about individual countries like France, Italy, England, Germany and Poland. Parts of it will live on for awhile longer even after the EU becomes a single nation through the influences of those histories and cultures in the US.

    1. You change simply the subject. Your thesis was they havent established their domestic economy, which is utter nonsense.
    2. Your thesis that the Chinese energy imports and exports go all via shipment is utter nonsense. Your thesis that its easy to block the coastline is utter nonsense.
    3. Your whole table of the military budgets is useless when you wanna point out the strenght of an army. And the whole point is ridiculous for someone who wanna try to lesson others with expertise who can easily block whom. Its basic knowledge that e.g. the German Army does not play in the same league as e.g. the Russian Army though according to their budget its relatively close. The point is (and its pathetic that I have to explain that when you try pretend you have any expertise on that topic at all) one of the most expensive parts of the German military budget are wages for the soldiers. So we have here an Army with about 180 soldiers, equipped on a medicore level on the German side and on the Russian side 800 000 soldiers with some of the best equipment in the world. The German army is down in soldiers, it is down in firepower, in quality and quantity of material. If you compare the budgets Russia's budget is only 20-25% higher. So you can see the value of the comparison of the budgets. If you knew anything about military powers in comparison this whole point would have been obvious.
    4. Your whole argument with the NATO is in this context utter nonsense. I was pointing out that the medicore powers of Europe did not learn that their times are up. You wanna refute that by the power of the NATO. Well, who was it who has the final say in the NATO in the worst case? Is it Britain? Is it Germany? Or is it the US? Then again you can think again, if that refutes my point or does just add weight to that.
    5. Put your thesis to the final test, China did not react to European lessoning over any inner-Chinese problems, now tell me, how will Germany punish them for that? How will France punish them for that? How will Great Britain punish them for that?

The times when European powers were superpowers is over. The US is definitely still the world's most powerful country, but that only proves my point. Trump is just an example that the gap to the European powers is so huge, that the US is more and more seeing them as a burden instead of support.

All the claims to the contrary don't remove the mass of land features off their coast. All the Allied Navies need to do is fill the gaps and we have effectively slammed the cork into the bottle of an export economy that suddenly cannot reach it's foreign customers, on which it is dependent, or, import the food and energy, on which they are also dependent. Look closely under the red dots in the first line at all those islands under the dots.

You claimed China had this powerful alliance structure, which is pure fiction, so, I gave you a list of the most powerful nations of the world, the vast majority which have repeatedly allied with us, several of which have actual navies, and then asked you to point out the allies of the Arrogant Pricks of Beijing, and you passed. Thank you for verifying my point. It's no one's fault but China's that they have no allies, they think they are the center of the world and that the proper attitude of their neighbors is to bend the knee to them. NATO and the Free Democracies have a much different history. We quickly go shoulder to shoulder and face down the world's wannabe dictators.
A Navy ship can't sail over an island. Your argument isn't with me, it's with basic physics.
Not much help in what will be a Naval Conflict, but, I'm sure they will be helpful somewhere.
Again, this will be a Naval conflict. And once China is under overlapping multilayered blockade, yes, their resupply will be controlled by Putin, and Putin, being an opportunist, will resupply them, for a pretty penny, while staying uncommitted enough that when there is resolution, he will be able to claim to have been sided with the victors. That's not an "alliance", that's an opportunist being true to form.
Not really a pivotal concern in a naval conflict.
Again, Naval conflict. Russia will take advantage of the China's inability to trade by sea to allow them some trade by rail, but only because with China trapped, Putin can bleed them. Big deal, it will be only enough to reduce starvation on the margins.
Again, not army, Navy, this will not be a Land Conflict.
Germany isn't a naval power. GB and France are, and both are operating Freedom of Navigation trips through the China Sea just to lift their middle fingers to the arrogant pricks of Beijing.
Trump just wanted them to step up, and they have. Stepped up they are the most overwhelming martial force in the world, it's not even close. Add to that Japan, India and Australia. If the Lying Polluting, Arrogant, Slaver, Genocidal Jackasses of Beijing want to get froggy, they won't like the consequences. Well, Saddam certainly didn't. He was hung.

If Beijing's leaders should be this stupid, they probably shouldn't plan on surviving their blunder. That's another reason while it's probably a good thing that Putin will give them some limited resupply, so that as much of their population as possible can survive the destruction of their government.

That because the Jews are whiter and speak with Brooklyn accents, they're the good guys; despite them beating innocents and annexing land and expelling a people by force and mass murder.
Because they're fighting people who sound Arabic, the Arabs are bad, for not sounding western.

Why else do we tolerate Colonialism in Palestine?
