    It is a possible viable step that could lead to that result but so would developing actual drones with that AI.

    We have drone planes now such as the F-15, no reason we couldn't make a pilotless F-35.

    Like you said, it essentially operates by itself anyways.

    Do we have the technology yet, nobody but the military knows that for sure.

    If I had to guess I don't think we are quite there yet but I'm sure we are close.

    If it weren't so expensive I say we replace all of fighters with missiles.

    I'd also replace all of our nukes with Rods from God but at 200 million a shot its not really feasible.

    They have one up in Oregon also, that was really neat to see.
