I grew up in New York City, and Abortion was then illegal, when I was 10 years old, I remember reading about Mothers getting these back room abortions performed by failed medical students, or defrocked alcoholic Physicians, or completely unqualified personnel, ending up with massive post op infections and often dying, since I was not a teen or medically certified yet, you can search archived records, and see if it was so.

 

Like I said, when you can provide some legitimate statistics let us know, until then they are just horror stories made up by the left to scare people.

Show us this epidemic of mass back alley abortions taking thousands of women's lives each year because abortion wasn't legal.

Why do you think that is.....I mean if they had them they would be plastered everywhere.....in 1942 61,492 women were found dead due to faulty illegal abortions.

No, but the N.Y. Times articles and Television News, and our Neighbor that was found dead in her apartment shortly after a botched Abortion, might have been evidence and factual as well as this posted video.

 

No one is disputing they happened but certainly not to any degree the left portrays it as.

They say that if abortions are illegals there will be a flood of women doing it illegally, well that never happened.

Sure some will here and there, hell they do it now, but it was never and never will be a crisis.

We have statistics from all sorts of things during pre-legalized abortion so where are your numbers?

For instance, I can tell you for a fact that only six people died of starvation during the entire Great Depression, can you tell us how many had illegal abortions?

 

I would say those were false figures.

Medically you can die from starvation even with a daily supply of meals.

And no, I do not have those figures.
I doubt such figures were kept then.

 

Nope, those were the documented cases.

One was a child who got lost in the woods.

The second was a man who apparently died starving himself to death, his body was found right around the corner from a soup kitchen.

The last four were trapped inside a house after the ceiling collapsed, trapping them inside.

That's it.

If there were others they were not documented as starvation.

We also have suicide numbers but oddly, no numbers for women being admitted for illegal abortions.

Ya think that maybe that number was so low they didn't bother to even account for it?

 

Ever read a report describing cause of death ?
Sometimes the report is not clear as to the actual cause of death, and details are left out.

Massive trauma, loss of blood, no mention of getting run over by a huge truck.

Yes there is an issue the Bible says the Creation took six days and therefore couldn't have taken millions of years for live to evolve so there is a conflict and well if one accepts the Bible then by default one must deny Evolution.

 

What "never happened" was taking the time and trouble to do any research by those opposed to women having the right to an abortion.
