Final Table with 6-7 (can't quite remember) players left and I am a short stack. I have one guy raise, a second guy go all in, a third guy call for all his chips, and then the Big Stack goes all in!!! I look down at my cards and see AA. Now, with 3 opponents that cover me (more chips) and potentially a fourth (original raiser), my odds go way down to the under 30%. If I fold them off and the Big Stack, who was playing tight wins the hand, then I am suddenly vaulted 2-3 places up in the money. Well, the original raiser did call too (pot odds for him I suppose, but he didn't consider the Tournament implications, so it was a bad move.) The Big Stack turned over pocket TT (tens). The flop had a ten in it and the rest was history as he wiped out 4 players vaulting me to 3rd place. Now the 2nd place guy that didn't play the hand stupidly got into a battle for all his chips with the now ENORMOUS stack a few hands later and lost. I finished 2nd place and the folding of the AA profited me over $7,000. It was an online tournament. So, I couldn't read faces, but I could read patterns and the Big Stack being a tight player and calling on the big hand told me he was solid and had a real chance of winning the hand.
