I have lodged many complaints at the Alarmists that they cherry pick and distort. So I am surprised you mention it.

I saw something that begged the funding prioritization of researchers that were demanding grants for research that all claimed the end was near, and of course, was the justification for all of their little junkets....Seems that if the end actually isn't neigh, the funding doesn't happen... So lots of scientists bitching on the forums about it being harder to get anyone to give them research grants...

Why did you promote a claim that is false?

Why says climate change isn't real?

Meanwhile he never addressed Dr. Marohasy's claims about the Reefs recovering from a natural bleaching event.

Nice to know you didn't find any problems with her work.

    Cheers.

No one, but perhaps folks like you, ever suggest that climates don't change. It would be denial at its worst. So, why do folks like you demand that climate doesn't ever change?

    This is what YOU wrote:

"funny they want to try to say that proves climate change is not real, rather than thank those that helped the reefs"

No one here or in the article said anything about climate change not being real, you made that crap up out of thin air which means you are being dishonest.

No one here has a problem with people (including Daniel Light) working to support the reefs ecosystem either.

Maybe YOU can explain how they survived the meltwater pulse for the rest of us?

Another falsehood since it has never been denied once anywhere I have been which is many and over 20 years.

I see that you are another person who will ignore on how reefs survived massive sea level rise............

When are you going to drop this weak deflection tactic?

were referring to climate change here as climate change influence by man

Many here think only man affects the climate.

We have told and told them that definitely climate changes. But it is only recently man has to be alarmed. Kind of silly when thought over.

Dr. Marohasy has a book on climate change out for those interested. Climate Change The Facts 2020

See, that is the change that deserves to be denied. Other than a tiny fraction of a percent change.

The old saying is that when you're in a hole it's best to stop digging. I suggest you might want to ponder that. It's clear that the GBR alarmists have been routed by the data.

They need to explain, given when the coral bleached, they allege it was due to climate change .... how it happens that when the bleaching reversed they did not blame that on man made climate change.

This is why inexperienced divers often don't understand what they're looking at when they see coral.
    Bleached from a Distance

I lent my underwater camera (Olympus TG-6) to a dear friend who recently visited Lady Elliot Island at the Great Barrier Reef. She came over last Sunday to return the camera, and to show me some of her photographs. My favourite is of the Parrot … [Read more...]
". . . For those who have never snorkelled or scuba-dived, and who like to lament the dying Great Barrier Reef, the corals beyond the parrot fish in Jessica’s picture might all look bleached. But that is how corals look in the distance when visibility is good, because the water is so clear. It is only when you swim up to them, when you are nearer to the corals, that you can see their real colour.

When I see photographs online and in newspapers of corals described as bleached, I often wonder how the photograph was taken – at what depth and whether it was colour corrected. . . . "
