"Trump has already exposed the evangelicals that support him" as putting their politics ahead of their religious values. Something both the left and the areligious center both were screaming for right up until Trump ran for president...

Would you prefer that evangelicals return to 'voting for God' instead of policies?

But what if President Trump not only succeeds in getting the American Embassy moved to Jerusalem but also
manages somehow to get at least one if not perhaps two Temples built for the Jewish people......... and what if
his courage leads to at least one if not two or more literal as well as metaphorical fulfillments of Ezekiel chapter forty seven.... which may alter the physical, spiritual, political and economic environment of the Middle East.... and the whole world?????????????

What if the Sanhedrin Rabbinic scholars are correct that he has some sort of a "Cyrus" calling on his life..... and Presidency???????

Christians have been engaged in timid "Civil War" for thousands of years (thus all the versions) and most do not even believe n Heaven, Hell, Satan....etc...

The whole shebang is fading away as I type this.

I think that would be either coincidental or some devine intervention. I don't think very many people elected him to do that kinda stuff. At least not consciously.

what are you basing that analysis on...? I can tell you from a personal perspective that its completely off, and I don't see any evidence that religious people view Trump as a representative of God.

That means about as much as a crowd cheering for Jamie Foxx honoring "our Lord and Savior Barack Obama!" or teaching children to sing church hymns adapted to praise Obama. Just as many conservatives did then, I think you're taking isolated instances of emotion inspired revelry a bit too seriously.

yep, Obama was a good Christian and family man.... why wouldn't the religious left support him

the question is, why does the religious right support Trump - is Trump a good Christian and morally decent person in their eyes?

That's not the metric you challenged me on.

Do the examples I cited demonstrate, in your opinion, that the left in general considered Obama a representative of God?

I never said the right in general consider Trump a God

the religious right claims to be the moral party, the family values party, is that what Trump represents to them?

And I never said you said that.
Given some Obama supporters can be shown to be praising Obama similarly (which I provided in previous posts) to the evidence you provided to support your claim above, do you think the religious left voted for Obama because they think he best represented their God?

Or do you think they more voted for him for his policies?

I am waiting to respond to your question until you answer the one I asked first. Otherwise, I suspect my question will continue to be ignored.

Given some Obama supporters can be shown to be praising Obama similarly (which I provided in previous posts) to the evidence you provided to support your claim (emboldened) , do you think the religious left voted for Obama because they think he best represented their God? Or do you think they supported him more for his policies?

"yep, Obama was a good Christian and family man.... why wouldn't the religious left support him?" is not an answer to the above question because support =/= consider representative of God.

That is actually a pretty good point......
I was kind of amazed how divided we Christians are on what I thought would be
    a fairly simple question:

    (A poll on ChristianForums .com):

Is Colton Burpo a credible witness?
    Edit
    1. *
      Yes
      12 vote(s)
      40.0%

    2. No
      16 vote(s)
      53.3%

    3. I am not sure but I am looking into this.

The results over on the Christian forum were higher than here.. but not as high as I had expected:

(A similar poll here on politicalforum .com):

Is Colton Burpo a credible witness?

    1. No....
      6 vote(s)
      66.7%
    2. *
      Yes....
      2 vote(s)
      22.2%

    3. I am not sure but I am going to research this further.
