13,000 (really?) haitians with their tents and gear just showed up under a highway in del rio texas? how did they get there? how did they know where to meet? why would they meet at a place so easy to contain?

to me, this looks like the normal homeless camp located under the interstate in every american city. i'm sure there are that many in new orleans, estimated in hundreds (and we fed them at occupy nola) rather than thousands.

i think someone is hiring and recruiting immigrants. they don't just show up. these employers are responsible for this "crisis," which must be a profitable bit of crisis for them.

i also think they should be treated humanely, given a fair hearing before they leave the premises, and accepted as refugees (with fair labor standards and osha protections) or deported according to the law.

I'm not sure if you are proffering a conspiracy theory or not. Are you saying American employers brought them there? They are being paid? I'm not getting your argument.

We should put a bounty on businesses that hire illegals, like Texas does with abortion.

Why ?? They cannot get the over 100 million working age unemployed to work for them. We have a hell of a lot of dead beat citizens.

It's already illegal and I've noticed that when we actually enforce those laws, people on your side of the aisle freak out. If the next President goes back to workplace raids, will you support those raids?

What we are seeing is the politicians in D.C., and some state governors, ignoring our laws.

who on the dem side "freaked out?"

trump's ice did raid the mississippi chicken plants and did deport the unionizing workers, but no owners or managers were inconvenienced and the labor was replaced very quickly with more docile employees.

have there been any prosecutions of employers in the last 4 , hell, make it 40 years? employers who hire illegal labor depress the market value of legal workers and encourage additional illegal entry. the problem is bipartisan and prevalent. the only way to stop illegal immigration is to stop the employers. i support whatever it takes to enforce these laws.

there is no conspiracy theory involved. american employers recruit throughout central america. millions of undocumented workers can not have jobs without cooperation at every level of government.

citizens are not "dead beat" to refuse to work for immigrant wages and conditions. the solution is to raise the pay and working conditions to levels already required by law,.

Democrats want open borders for 2-reasons - future illiterate voters and illiterate low wage workers that will not talk back - to undermine the voting power of Genuine Americans AND to undermine their earning power.

19,000 Haitian migrants have applied for refuge in Mexico. These people aren't being paid to leave their homes, they've been displaced by a natural disaster, so now they are migrating to other countries, as humans have done for thousands of years. They're not being paid to do so, quite the opposite in fact. They pay underground networks with what little money they have to help transport them. You literally cannot make a profit doing what you are describing

According to law, they need to apply for refugee status at the 1st neutral country the come to. Haiti is several countries away. I think a study should be done as to actually how these fat masses of people travel to get here and who supplies the transportation! Mexico at the very least would be a good country from which they could apply. Let them wait there........oh my!, Trump already had that set up!

Why on earth do they just happen to pick the United States? A country steeped in embedded racism? A country divided by the oppressors and oppressed?

Let them settle in Mexico to replace the Mexicans who sneaked across the border into the USA.

    .

Video below is from last night's FOX news channel's Tucker Carlson show. Tucker showed a video from February 2015 of then VP Biden bragging that they intend to bring in a never-ending stream of immigrants. Then on video... Biden explains WHY they want to bring in hordes of third world immigrants... Biden actually said to make White Europeans the minority. Tucker Carlson said this is called the racial "Great Replacement"

The COVID unemployment is a huge factor in why people are choosing to not work when they can instead sit on their ass and watch Netflix and get paid for it. My local grocer is closing earlier than usual because of this. The solution to the government deterring citizens from working due to bad-intentioned policies is not to hire illegals (future Democrats).

Then why are they huddled under a bridge to get into a land of supposed systemic racism? If Mexico is a better country to settle, then they just need to settle there.
