Blamed Bush? Liberal celebrities claimed that George Bush caused the hurricane.

Inflation and local response to a hurricane are two completely different animals. Biden did cause inflation because he pumped trillions into the economy to the benefit of his buddies. Economics 101. Literally.

Cast majority of the new money was pumped in by his predecessor Donald Trump. The amount new money created in 2020 was astronomical, and yes, it is one of the causes of inflation.

As for the topic, - I don't get the pre-emptive whining about what the media might say, and now some are saying they won't be happy unless the media names DeSantis the man of the year. If your politicians can't take the heat, they need to get out of the kitchen, We need leaders, not whiners.

Let me see if I get your post correctly.

Are you trying to say that the Democrats are going to be doing the same thing that the Republicans do all the time and blame the other party for whatever catastrophe occurs?

Just like Biden is blamed for:

    1) inflation
    2) baby formula shortage
    3) arms hurting because of vaccine shots
    4) not being tough enough on Russia
    5) open borders
    6) stealing the election
    7) partisanship
    8 increase in crime
    9) woke agenda
    10) Afghanistan departure

    etc., etc., etc.

So what else is new between the parties?

Then again and talking about DeSantis, he is to blame for a lot of bad things

Then you're going to have to blame Trump too then. He signed two stimulus packages while he was president and encouraged the Fed to pump money into the economy even before the pandemic. And blame the Federal Reserve as well.

If you really cared to blame those truly responsible for the inflation, your list would have more than one name on it.

CNN could have really done a number on DeSantis by pointing out the needless covid deaths, and the damage done to the Florida economy by having high infection rates.

So, why won't you say what you want (see above) that you figure DeSantis, Trump et al will deliver?

We shall see what DeSantis does about the Hurricane. He has an opportunity to show he's more competent than Trump who the public judged as wanting in dealing with covid.

Only if he mishandles the Hurricane.
How could any media make the headlines already? You're not pulling everyone's leg with false statement!!

It seems this must be a slow day for whining.
Inventing threads to whine about something that has not even happened yet.

    Welcome to MAGA.

So true. In contrast, I don't see any thread creations whining about how Biden will be mistreated by Fox News and the RW media, for whatever they can find to pick on after his hurricane response. The people who whine the most are actually those who accuse the other side of acting as victims, when they portray themselves as being victims almost all the time.

Told people to get out. Dispatched the national guard before the storm arrived. Declared a state of emergency days before the storms arrival. Had county leadership establish plans to handle the disaster.

The left wing media is just down right terrible and their soul purpose no longer is to serve news, but to create division in this country.

    That is oh so true.
Not just for those that whine but also for accusing others of something.

It's a cover up to deflect attention.

Looks like the pre-emptive whine did not help make DeSantis look like the victim of the evil media.

I saw on MSNBC yesterday that the first thing their 'expert' said was that Florida can't afford the damage because Desantis spent money on sending the migrants north, so it's already begun.

So far I think the media has been fair to both Desantis and Biden. In this instance they both appear to have placed the people of Florida above politics and the press has recognized that.

Last night's press conference by DeSantis was excellent. True leadership in a crisis by the Governor, not seen IMO since Lawton Chiles was Governor.

DeSantis' leadership qualities stand in stark contrast to the Clown Show that is the Biden Regime.
