    Fair point. Just this:

And some MSNBC piece by Joy Reid blaming DeSantis for racism or something, but yes there isn't yet a MSM DeSantis pile on.

It looks like that right now the attack is how dare DeSantis ask for federal funds when he badmouths the federal government so much. Not totally unreasonable but definitely coordinated between the politicians and the media like all other left wing attacks

Right...so no headlines stating DeSantis mishandled the hurricane like you assumed. Thanks.

Not yet, but I still think it will be there, especially if he runs for president. But if you wish, you can post as often as you like that Francisco Franco is still dead.

I haven't looked into everything he has done. I knew they knew ahead of time that it was going to be one of their worst storms ever. I think everyone in the danger zones should have been out days before the hurricane ended and they should have started evacs even sooner to avoid bottle necking.
Also when it come to stuff like this can government say those people that are getting evac'd still get paid for those days if they aren't salaried?
I'm sure DeSantis tried but IMO not one person had to die.
Yet, with EVERY major storm people die. Why does this happen when we can predict the weather ahead of time?

Considering that DeSantis served in the US Navy and Congress, he doesn't bad mouth the federal government so much as he badmouths certain leaders and certain policies. There is a difference.

    Brian McNoldy - https://bmcnoldy.rsmas.miami.edu/aboutme.html

Brian has maintained a blog on tropical Atlantic activity since 1996, then was selected as one of four hurricane experts for a New York Times blog from 2007-2010, and has been the tropical weather expert for the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang blog since 2012.

And what a great shock. Ron DeSanris was magically accused of 'botching' the evacuation by..... The New York Times!

Hurricanes are immune from human handling or mishandling. Only in the political world would one say this.
