    This reminds me;

What of the possibility of naturally occurring DMT at the point of death and even, some say, when we sleep, but especially when we die, enabling for an afterlife?
Has this DMT ever been proven to occur naturally in the human body?

    That is a good theory.........
but I do like this one better......

but my belief in Theistic Evolutionary Theory does give me a bias.....

    Nobody knows except the dead.

Even if it were naturally occurring it couldn't be sustained after death so it would only be a momentary thing.

And since nobody has returned to life after days of being dead we simply do not know.

Back in 1943, long before Theoretical Physicists were writing about String Theory.....
Dr. George Ritchie had an experience in which he describes what goes on in what sure sounds like
five dimensional space - time, then sixth, then seventh and then eighth.

If it occurs organically, wouldn't there be traces of it found in any dissected postmortem pineal glands?

Momentarily of course, but the effect perhaps feeling longer, much, much longer, and also, there are some who dare speak of energy transference and our pineal gland being the key to unlocking cosmic understanding of ourselves and consciousness and acts like a conduit.

New age science aside, doesn't DMT also occur in smaller doses when we sleep causing us to dream?
Are our dreams just DMT? (and no matter how long the dream may feel, how much of our sleep is the actual dream)? Can DMT have an affect on time perception?
If when we die, we get a higher dose, can that explain near death experience stories and perhaps, even a perception of the life eternal?

DMT is a short lived psychedelic and is not something the human body produces (that we know of) but could certainly produce some sort of near death experience. The "Spiritual Molecule" title is just a hype name much like God Particle and means nothing.

Near Death experiences have no relevence to the question of heaven, hell or any existance after actual death. Pretending otherwise is just fuzzy thinking.

They are interesting only insofar as they reflect how the brain works.

Does the brain create such 'eternal' life with DMT?
As real as an illusion or a mirage to a dying personality, does DMT occur naturally?

Have we even dissected any willing candidates post-mortem to run tests on the chemicals in the brain upon the second of death, which means, having a doctor on stand by to call it and preserve the brain as long as the DMT could survive, then go look for it.

    ....................
Does our brain even produce DMT at all? Like, for dreams when our brains regulate sleep, could a burst of DMT be the life eternal?

    • Abusers of DMT talk of other worlds and portals and time being irrelevant, even though it's a short lived high.
    • It's been suggested that out dreams only account for a few seconds before we wake, despite dreams feeling longer. If DMT helps us sleep and dreams and time can seem longer than the really are (seconds before we wake up they say), then, could such an 'eternal life' exist IF it's proven the brain produces this chemical at the point as it dies?

How do we prove such a theory? (Or disprove), I'm thinking dissecting brains of candidates right, will perhaps yield the way. Then test for organic DMT like compound, and look closely at the pineal gland/start looking there.
Unless we can look in there with some kind of DMT detecting laser or brain scanner, but we'd need it to positively identify any organic DMT chemicals.

During his seven minute near death experience Rabbi Alon Anava who was completely irreligious at the time of his NDE reported feeling like two billion years had gone by in some parts of his near death experience.

You may wish to skip the first seven minutes to get right to the part about time being warped in his out of the body state of consciousness.

life does go on, but it will be a shock for most at first as when you no longer breath, can not physically move or feel, hear, talk, ect as these are functions of the human body, it will be a shock to some

if you have ever not been able to breath for a time, you will know how real this panic can be

and in their panic, they will be like a moth drawn to a flame.... looking for the next vessel to begin a new life

could be the reason moths are drawn to the flame is their life sucks and they are wanting an upgrade ;)

True...... and going into TIMELESSNESS may be the freakiest thing about finding our consciousness outside of our bodies.......

It is at the thirty minute mark to the thirty two minute mark in that Rabbi Alon Anava video in post #11 where he mentions it feeling like a billion years..... or even two billion years......

Former Skeptic and near death experiencer Mellen Benedict sure was shown an astonishing amount of huge ideas during his NDE...... It was like he was in timelessness as well....

Only from the perspective of the purely physical.
