After a day like today.....Everything they stick up for is mindless childrens retorts!
and I bet its going to way worse as the inmates keep on running the insane asylum!

All of which are part of the executive branch. So you don't want Trump to investigate Biden, but you're more than happy to let him investigate Biden...

Whistleblower identity is now irrelevant. Others have stepped forward backing the veracity of his/her observation. Even so, the unnamed political persuasion is also irrelevant and, at the moment, unknown. One thing that is predictable is Trump's attacking the source which in this case is laughable because we don't know the source. Whistleblower laws are designed to protect whistleblowers from this kind of nonsense. That's a good idea unless you are person that the only laws relevant are ones liked by the yourself.

As they did with the Cohen hearings, Republicans on the committee's only offering was a loud repetitive chorus of, "You're a liar!" which Cohen repeatedly acknowledged. Democrats listened to the testimony and decided to verify the veracity of the claims later through investigation. This is what adults do. They look to establish what is true and what is false then decide which way to go. Today, Republicans desperately scramble to attack an unknown person on a multiplicity of irrelevant factors. Perhaps they missed hair color.

The only thing that matters in this instance and all others like it is Truth. Did the whistleblower reveal a truth? Apparently, a large number of senior, nonpartisan people in the line of command thought it did. That includes the Inspector General, a Trump appointee. That is still in the region of opinion, however, that is dispelled by competent investigation and collaborative sources which we now have. What the whistleblower reported was true. One may not like this, but it is what it is.

When partisan opponents to truth attempt to invent an alternate truth, they destroy their credibility. This is an important fact (as demonstrated here every day) because truth and facts matter. Once one slips into an alternate reality where true is false, they have gone to the dark side. This is the sort of behavior that destroys democracy and must be resisted by people of good will.

I would say the left is definitely more corrupt and hypocritical. Sure you could point out certain politicians on both sides and generalize, but left wing ideaology that is collectivist in nature lends itself toward government corruption. For one simple reason- more government- fewer liberties. This has always caused problems and the lefts answer is always more government. Steamrolling the individual liberties of the people.
Objectivity does not imply impartiality. Being partial to freedom, there’s nothing the left offers I find attractive.
