I lost you with my question it seems. I would assume that you would not want to fund the company who's owner also owns the Washington Post. MSM, Enemy of the People, fake news and all that.

 

Think like I do or I will take my business elsewhere. It's my money, I'll spend it where I like.

Nothing wrong with that. Trying to get someone fired is the problem I pointed out. Spending your money where you like is your right. Trying to get someone fired is cancel culture.

 

My reasons are completely the opposite of the right's. They hate Bezos because Trump does.

I dislike their treatment of employees, including the battle they're having now over union membership.

I also dislike the Amazon monopoly on online shopping/shipping, and the stinginess where workers are concerned.

And taxes ... this is a company making billions off of American consumers, and they're not paying their fair share of taxes that could benefit the people who create those profits.

 

Isn't that what Trump has threatened to do with the few Republican congress critters who speak out against him? Anyone can play that game, IMO. I dislike it from either side.

I think Amazon is a bit out of control when I hear stories about their warehouse workers taking leaks into empty soda bottles because the bathrooms are so few and far between that it's a 15m round trip for which they get a dock in their pay.

 

Yet. Wait and see how much he stumps for whoever he and his supporter get to primary everyone on his list of enemies in the 2022 midterms..
