Again, he was a key thinker among a group of key thinkers who made some interesting philosophical arguments that he mostly ignored in his own personal life. Beyond that, his wisdom has not aged well, we are not an agrarian society filled with wonderful farmers living in a libertarian utopia of modern day Athenians reading the classics and debating metaphysics while humping nubile slave girls in the study. His only real accomplishment besides the DofC is the Louisiana Purchase. His words mean little to us today, if anything Hamilton had a greater long term affect on us than Tommy Boy.
