    But our standard of living is higher, we get more holidays and sick leave, we have free health care, we haven’t totally ****ed our environment (yet) and our happiness index is waaaaaaaay above yours

    America might be Gods own country but Australia is where he comes for a holiday

    Your standard of living is HIGHER? The whole country is an outback, the only decent highway in a whole Australia between Sydney and Brisbane is not even 2 lines each way (not yet, anyway) and most of your restaurants do not sell alcohol so the diners have to bring their own. Gimmi a break! :nana:

    Been there, done that and was very happy to come home. Half a year in Broken Hill... nothing good to remember!

    Ah yes! I remember hitting the road in an early hours and seeing people with hooks on the trucks, picking up dead kangaroos killed the previous night...

    Nah, mate. America is waaaaay better than Australia :)

    One of the nice things about hanging out in Australia is Aussies are far enough away from the scene in North America that they often focus on other stuff.

    Sydney and Melbourne have over 5m people each, Brisbane had 2m--hardly outback.

    That's silly. I don't like tRump a bit, but tRump meant the kidney in the sense of people with kidney problems and not literally that a kidney is located in the heart, ergo, the people with kidney problems have a very special place in people's hearts, not the organ of the heart.

    Damn, I'm starting to understand him, will the Dems get off their asses and impeach him, even if the Senate says no, because maybe, it'll shut him up.

    Because alcohol licences cost and are a pain a lot of restraints go the cheaper BYO option. No biggie. A lot of people would rather eat at a small good restraint pay less then move on to a pub for the drinks

    It's also much more than the total amount of illegal aliens in the US. The US has 44 million who were foreign born and 22 million of them are US citizens. It has about equal amounts of foreign born on the road to citizenship and illegal aliens, so 11 million is not 25 million.
